Is anyone else using this armor (its a popular mod)? It looks great, the only problem is that ever since I started using it at around level 8 or 9 the game has become extremely easy even on nightmare mode. Im at level 20 and running around with over 40 armor, less than 10 fatigue, dual wielding starfang and keening blade, with lifeblood and key to the city and spellward. My warrior is nearly unstoppable, I mow through everything.

Supposedly the black templar armor has the same stats as the blood dragon armor pre nerf. I have the nerfed blood dragon armor in my inventory (which is ugly as heck and not that good). Was the pre nerf blood dragon armor really as powerful as black templar armor or is black templar armor even stronger with higher armor ratings and stats?

If pre nerf blood dragon armor really is as strong as black templar armor, i dont understand why they would give you the best armor in the game so early into the game as a free dlc... No wonder they nerfed it and made it hard to find.

i love the black templar armor. i usually use it on alistair. it just makes sense to me to put it on him. the armor is probably not why you're so powerful. it is probably the weapons you are dual wielding. :-)

The thing is, I just started dual wielding. I was using yusaris as a 2 handed warrior for most of the game. And I still chopped through everything. I think the armor is way overpowered.

The pre-nerf Blood Dragon armour (which I still have installed) is very powerful.

Blood Dragon armor has always been Silverite (Tier 6) not Dragonbone (Tier 7), so there is an increase in armor over the old BDA, but I don't know by how much, maybe 4 more armor?

...any items that are not in the original game that you add in for free are going to make the game easier for you...especially if you add in the 'Black Templar' armor without adding it to Bodahn's shop to be available for purchase....the stats on it are basically the v1.0 Blood Dragon plate with Bergen's honor helm...though the tier 6 silverite has been upped to tier 7 resulting in an increase in armor...however the set bonus doesn't work so....

...so...your still better off using diligence gloves w. v1.0 blood dragon plate, bergen's honor & tier 7 Cailan's greaves...in all respects...though you will look a little ridiculous! ....Knight Commander's plate, though not offering the best armor, is probably my favorite armor set for the 40% spell resistance!

All I know is that ever since I started wearing black templar armor at level 8 or so, the game became extremely easy even on nightmare with no potions allowed.
