For my Vanguard, Garrus and Miranda, with Samara replacing Garrus every now and then when I want the extra Reave caster. Miranda never leaves my group though, she just has too many useful abilities.

I'm surprised Zaeed hasn't gotten a nod yet. He's not as sturdy as Grunt, but he has the ability to quickly bring down Biotic Barriers (with Concussive Shot), Shields (with Disruptor Ammo), and Armour (with Incinerate Grenade). Garrus is also very useful, with Overload for Shields, Concussive Shot for Barriers, and Armour Piercing Ammo for everything else. As a Vanguard my preferred team is Garrus and either Grunt or Zaeed. Legion is likely a tougher version of Garrus, so he can stand in for him sometimes, though his abilities aren't as useful.

Samara and Miranda seem to be a good combo.

I find myself bringing along Garrus and Grunt most of the time.

Miranda, no contest. She increases squad health and damage, and has Warp and Overload.

I would have to agree with Miranda for all but Sentinel Sheps. Go get the Tempest SMG first after Horizion, and she's a killing machine.

Varies, but on my sentinel on insanity I liked to bring Thane and Garrus around. They packed respectable damage while offering a second warp and overload.



If I played anything other than a sentinel I'd probably take Miranda all the time.
