It may not be large to you, but that is a pretty large aspect of someone's character some would say defining in some cases. It shouldn't be but for our western society, it really is.
Please tell what would change if Jacob liked male Shepard? Besides that he likes guys as well as girls.
Sorry, I just had to respond to this.
Let's say you have the sterotypical idea of a nerd. Ok?
Now, step by step:
Take away the studying (what changes other then the fact he likes studying?)
Get buff (what changes other then the fact that he has muscle?)
Become a ladies man (what changes other then the fact that he's a ladies man?)
And so forth. Not in any step can you identify where the major change happened. Do you see my point now?
Thats a huge misconception people have towards homsexaulity and lesibiasm. My development as a person is hardly dependent on that aspect.
Studying, though, effects my erudition-- studying more or less would affect a lot.
Being gay effects very little, and exist on a different tier than optional things like studying or excercise
Disagree. Studying doesn't affect who you are as a person if homosexuality doesn't. A homosexual person would act differetnly towards another homosexual than a heterosexual correct? That's a change in persona right there. You can't really say one thing affects something more than another.
