No, because I'll bring up new points and facts to support my side of this debate. Everyone opposed to me is just like "lulz you're homophobic" and ignores me, goes another page and says something else stupid or inane which I address. I tend to avoid supposition without evidence... and if that means I have to say more than "TALI SHOULD BE ROMANCEABLE FOR FEMSHEP BECAUSE I LOVE HER" in a post, well, so be it. I'm not going to dumb myself down; I'll just continue to stack up the counterargumentation until I receive proper rebuttal.
I think HAGA NAGA may have left you a bit jaded. Most people on the pro-FemShep/Talimance side have contributed more than that to the argument.
I actually wanted the Femshep/Tali romance, but apparently romance is optional and has nothing to do with the story says HAGA NAGA. So it shouldn't matter? The only reason I don't REALLY want it anymore is because it wouldn't fit with the story. Imagine a lesbian Quarian, it would mess up the story now that I think about it. How would the Flotilla react? Bioware would have to redesign the game if they were to add it through a DLC like HAGA NAGA said.
I'm not sure I understand you. First, its possible Tali gets exiled and wouldn't care a bit what the Flotilla thinks.
Second, even if she didn't, don't you think the Flotilla would be a bit more disappointed that one of their best decided to go off with an Alien, regardless of gender? Either way she's not bringing back more Quarians.
Third, Quarians seem to be ready and willing to compensate for their lack of physical contact or in certain cases, lack of being allowed to have kids. That whole "nerve stimulator" ad-on? Every reasonable adult has them? Same-sex relationships are historically more common on Earth at least in areas where "normal" male-female intimacy is in some way limited, not surprisingly.
That isn't of course a reason for Tali being more "open-minded", but for Quarians in general.
