i recently got the game, and its one of the best games i have ever played ,

but when i try to access the cerberus network it say
"Thank you for your interest. we're sorry, but you're not old enough to access Mass Effect2's online features. Please continue to enjoy all of the other great features in your game."

ok how does it know i am not old enough, this does not happen with another games,
does anyone know how to fix this problem/ had this problem???

How old are you both? quite a few games have built in age restrictions, especially online-play EA games.

When you first setup your 360/gamertag you enter a date of birth, it goes by this and can never ever be changed

I have this problem to. Fact is i'm actually 19 years old and I can't imagine I messed up my birthdate when i created my account. Anyone knows where you can see your birthdate? Tried checking the xbox site but can't find it anywhere. If anyone found a solution to this problem, please help a sad panda out:(

Try contacting Microsoft/EA support for this.

Lol, 3 mails to Xbox customer service and 2 to EA later I'm back here. EA didn't bother to reply to my last one and Xbox customer service just seems to be going in circles not even reading half of my mail. great:)

Edit: I correct myself about EA, something must've gone wrong with my mail. Resent it few hours ago and already got an answer now:)
so summary: EA cares, m$ doesn't

Ok here's how I fixed it:) sorry for the double post but I guess you won't mind:D

I think the source of my problem actually was, my gamertag not being linked to my EA account.

Since I didn't have any other EA games that have online multiplayer, I downloaded the "lord of the rings: conquest" demo. If you then choose multiplayer through xbox live, you'll have to log in using the email and password of your EA-account. Doing this will automatically link your accounts, and the next time I tried mass effect, it just worked:) Hope this helps some people out.
