I haven't done the Jack romance, so this is all conjecture, but I know there are two cutscenes for her. I would imagine that initiating the casual encounter in the subdeck ends it, because to get the final romance you need to break through her emotional walls. If you want the full romance, you -probably- have to reload and do the paragon option. Again, I'm not sure, but it just makes sense for the character.

well i was full paragon and pursued romances with jack, miranda and tali up to a point where i had to make a decision. there was no pre-romance.

once jack lied down on her bed in engineering alone on her back and explained stuff to me.



the jack character is all about a very sensitive and vulnerable person. bad things have happened to her and she is always in defense because of that (including offense being the best defense)

but she is a very good and warm person underneath. at least thats how i understood her, therefore full paragon (which my character was) may be preferred by her.

Don't go for sex at the first opportunity. Keep talking and eventually she'll come up to your cabin before the Omega relay.

Yea, it is either or. If you jump right in, you're done, if you wait you get the "touching" scene before the last mission. Good job on the save right before. Don't you hate it when you realize you screwed up the conversation and your last save was an hour ago?!

I really want to continue the romance. For me Subject Zero is the most interesting character in the whole game.
I've a savegame before the encounter and could do the Paragon "I can wait" dialogue, but hey 2 years dead means 2 years no sex for shepard .

tsk, tsk, should have listened to kelly. She tells you if you jump on jack at the first oppurtunity jack won't repect you.

Remember what Kelly tells you when Jack first comes on board. About how Jack keeps everyone at a distance, but approaches sex casually. There's a clue right there.

i'm trying to get on Miranda's soft side but after 1 wrong turn with her during a mission it has been hard to get her loyalty up, but jack even more, since those 2 can't stand each other... witch sucks since if any of your scores are't high eneugh pulling ppl apart when they are at each other throats is gonna be hard(as i found out..) without losing 1 of their loyaltys..

This isn't how she's romanced. If you remember anything Chambers said earlier about Jack it's that Jack approaches sex casually and that's all you you accomplished. . . .casual sexual encounters!

There's nothing wrong with being a fan of Miranda. If you find something interesting about her, that's fine. Just don't go making sweeping generalizations about Jack if you don't know anything about her, like some of the previous posters have made obvious.
