So far the game's been working fine for me, other than a bit of weirdness with the Redcliffe stuff, which a hotfix corrected, but I'm having a bit of an issue that while not vital, is certainly distracting.

I finally got my character up to a point where I could use the Blood Dragon Armor. I purchased all the pieces I needed to, but for some reason, the torso of the armor itself is a plain black texture with no definition or features or anything beyond just black. The skirt portion is properly textured, as is the rest of the armor, but the breastplate itself is screwed up.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to fix it?

It's just kind of annoying, not nearly as important as a lot of the other game-breaking stuff, but I'd love to figure it out.

Ah, got the same problem. Hopefully, it will be fixed in a small patch. It's just annoying.

NVidia here ... its ok on my human warrior, but busted on my elf arcane warrior.

I have also seen this, the texture is black on my female elf arcane warrior. Looks fine on other characters.

My Blood dragon armor looked like it was suppose to, tell today it looked like what you descibe. I was lucky though a quick restart fixed it. Hope it doesn't come back and stay that way.

There's several threads on this topic already. The textures for Elven and Dwarven females are simply messed up, it's not your graphics card or anything. The devs knew about it as of four days ago, so I would expect a fix in the next patch.

If you could bring the texture up to the standard of all the other ingame items - and the massive dwarven armor shows that it's possible to have a good looking texture on that model - it would be much appreciated.

Currently it looks like the worst texture I've seen ingame (not counting the HD texture mod for this armor)...

How many pieces are in the BD armor set? I got 4, it didn't make a set.

Chestpiece, helmet, gloves, boots. The set consists of 4 pieces, just like every *full* set. You should get the set bonus for just 3 pieces i think.

The blood dragon armor gives its bonus, but not ICON for the bonus, with the boots/gloves/armor. My first character (rogue, lol) ran through the entire game in blood dragon armor but with Honnleath helm.



I have a similar bug in which (usually) the weapons of everyone in my party except my character are completely black. I also once saw Oghren wearing the blood dragon helm, and it was pure white (so unlike him). The same issue also affected environments, though, and I had entire inns that were people standing in black nothingness.
