I played as female Shepard for Mass Effect 1 (really loved her powerful voice).
Who'd love to see more of femShep used in the marketing in ME3?

Female shepard just looks strange, it doesn't fit the voice.
Mine does I think, but I don't have any way of getting a pic to show her off. I think i'll have to borrow a camera of a friend at some point.

it was built after the voice actor, just like mirandapaul_krause wrote...
I doubt you'll see much of FemShep in marketing mainly due to the fact that there probably aren't any "hero" renders of FemShep. That is to say HiRes HiPoly model renders. Her default model seems based off of default models in game While male Shep's face was modeled after, well, a model I believe.

No, that's what I am calling it...
I agree that the default female Shepard head is poor (pretty much an obvious afterthought in both games). And while you can make very good female Shepards, they still pale in comparison to the default male and all of the new companion's faces.

but all in all fem shep has a much better voice then male shep... male shep sounds like hes doing nothing but reading lines... female shep sounds like shes in the game

i just tried making a male shep... his voice has 0 emotion or acting to it... for instance, when you wake up after an incident he just said "what happened" where as fem shep is groggy... Fem Shep sounds like a person male shep sounds like a guy reading lines off a peice of paper
I have to agree, although it's nice that the main character HAS a voice. Something I wish would change w/ other story driven games.

Besides, I'm used to him now. Can't relate Meer's voice to any other face.

i agree but i cannot stand his voice... its too artificial... wake up from being out " what going on here" completely flat FemShep sounds like he just woke up from an all night bender in someone elses roomLeingodX wrote...
I actually dig the default male Shepard. "Iconic", as Bioware calls him. He's on the trailers, covers, and it's pretty hard to actually create a better-looking Shep from scratch.

All the 11 year olds who buy Mass Effect will freak out
By the law and company policy they shouldn't be having the game in the first place. And guys haven't exactly had problems with female heroines in the past (*looks from Tomb Raider to Bayonetta*) - though female Shepard is way more mature example of feminity than video game heroines usually are.
