Like you said, that will be very dificult to implant.

But do not worry. The choices you made in DA:O will be represented in DA:A. For example, if you run into Liliana or Zevran, I'm sure your romance and possible paths the characters could have would be taken into account somehow in your interaction with them.

Now I can't say if bioware will do them justice, but they are the kings of story telling, so I have faith that cameos will be at least adequate.

If this was the full blown sequel to DA:O I would guess and expect every character to survive to have a cameo of some kind. However, this is a mere expansion... so we can't be sure we'll get the royal treatment.

No one companion is everyone's favorite. Leliana seems to be the most popular, but she certainly has her haters. Same with Alistair, Morrigan, Oghren, Zevran, Sten, Dog... well you get it.



If we take "an old favorite will be returning" literally, like some are doing, then every single companion would need to return as every companion is a personal favorite to someone.



Besides the Devs have made it CLEAR that only 1 character is returning.



PS- They will suffer backlash from whichever companion they pick.

We are arguing the same thing here, in regards to favorites...Bioware can't possibly choose everyone's favorites....therefore instead of stating "your old personal favorite" they stated "an old returning favorite"



That statement pretty much leaves it up in the air as to who it is. Also please note my observations on the pics you posted elsewhere. I zoomed in at 400% ..currently my opinion remains the same...'tis not Ohgren.



That dwarf resembles him somewhat...could even be a berzerker like him After all..dwarves can't be mages so you can only either pick rogue or warrior. Most dwarves I've seen tend to be warriors. Although personally I have chosen to play a dwarf or two as a rogue.



At any rate..if you can find a good pic of Ohgren from Origins and put the two pics side by side..I'll give you my opinion again on the differences I have seen so far. In order to say that its actually Oghren ..that needs proof.



Currently I see differences in the face shape, body size, eyebrows, hair..can't see the nose its too blurry in that pic. This new dwarf also looks younger. He seems to have more hair, in his beard and on his head than Ohgren does. Ohgren has puffy round cheeks....this dwarf doesn't seem to have that.



Only way to tell is put the two pics side by side and go from there.
