Haven't seen a thread on this, so I'd thought I'd share something I found out to get infinite skill points (x360)

Requirements: able to learn Dominate, Advanced Training, Retrain Powers and 7500 Element Zero per extra skill point(s).

 Steps

1. Buy Advanced Training and pick the Dominate skill. (All points you have in your bonus spec will be saved)

2. After you lean the skill, check your abilites and you will notice a BONUS skill point will be speced into it.

3. Use Retrain powers and you will have an extra skill point added to spend

4. Rinse and Repeat

:-)

You can save before choosing Morinth. As long as you get her and the ability is unlocked, you can then reload and choose Samara again. The ability will remain there.

The problem isn't a Morinth requirement, its the assload of eezo.

Unless it allows you to pretty much unlock ALL your talents, then i dont really see the point, since you level up quick enough as it is.

Long Service Medal gives you 50,000 of each element to start the game with. That's a good start!

Oh, no doubt. But by the time you get up to level four of an ability, you're 75000 in the hole.

Patience and scanning, young/old grasshopper/grandmaster. (Not sure which you are.)

I'll have to make a trip out to the eezo trio, if I can remember where it is.

Really?  *whew*  I never liked her much at all >.>  No offense to any Morinth fans, but she was creepy.

I wonder if this glitch will have any impact on ME3?

Actually, just play the game twice, you get 50k eezo, from the start.

Do the extra hacked skill points translate into any additional skill points for the squad members?

Why do people say you need Morinth? I saved samara and still got it.

Sorry, off-topic, but how do you get an avatar of your ME character specifically? When I go in my profile options I only see pre-defined avatars or the ones I have from my Dragon Age saved games.

if you drink every single planet dry, and search every nook and cranny in the game you should have enough element zero to max out your character

Does this work on the PC?

I tried it a few times but I'm still getting the same amount of skill points ><

I don't own the PC version so I cannot test it properly, only works with dominate so check shepard's stats after you learn it and see if there is a bonus skill point put into dominate AFTER avanced training is used, if there is then use retrain powers and thats how you get the bonus skill point(s).

Sorry if this is an old topic but i thought i'd post here instead of making a new thread.

A friend told me about this unique skill point glitch on the Xbox version. When advancing to the final tier of each skill, if you press X and A at the same time then you get all your skill points back. This makes it possible to max out all of your skills and you don't need 7500 eezo.

If they every release a patch for the game i suspect this will be the first thing to go but i just thought i'd share it with everyone.

Christina Norman posted in one of the classes forums that this is not something they will patch, but do not guarantee that your character will work in ME3 import save utility.

On an aside, can anyone confirm respeccing will bring your points back to a normal amount... so you can use the glitch early in the game, then when you get to high level respec to set your character points back to normal amount, or do points stay with your character regardless?  I have a new character I started last night and am waiting to spend any points until I learn some more about this little gem...

There's a better way to do this glitch and it doesnt even require you to spend a ton of resources to do it. Simply stow away 10 points, and then buy up to level 3. Then, just before buying level 4 in the skill (This works for xbox version, dont know about PC) press X + A simultaniously and it will not only let you pick your rank 4 but refund all of the points you just spent as well. Meaning, you can totally max out any new character by level 6-7 if you so choose to.

Also, if the info is correct that "Your character may not be able to import into ME3 if you do this glitch" then I will honestly just not play ME3.  If Im going to be "punished" for taking advantage of a glitch that they couldnt patch before the game was released, then I want nothing to do with future projects.  It's bad enough that DA doesnt have a NG+ mode (which is most of the reason why I dont play it anymore).  Screw me over like this just for taking advantage of a harmless glitch, and I'd be more than a little upset.  More along the lines of boycotting any future BW products.
