Relationships with miranda, JAck and Tali( was a bit shocked really) turned out to be possible, however, i've gone into a dead end with samara, has anyone managed to achieve the relationship?

Well, that's kind of lame that you can't have a relationship with her. I was expecting a climactic romance scene at the end, but ended up staring at Ashley's picture all night.

Samara is quite interesting, I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled a semi-Tali and was romanceable in ME3 (if many of our squad members return for the next one)

Asari are blue and look like human women.
The conversation on Illium with the bachelor party was simply a joke and showing the various parts of asari that the other species appreciate.
Asari are not actually mindcontrolling other species into finding them attractive it was simply a joke from the writers.

(sadly some people fail to get it)

Liara is borderline jailbait if we consider the lifespan of asari lol

i think if you do pursue something with her it will have some affect on Mass Effect 3, because getting to some dialogue point causes her to be recognized by the advertisments on the Citadel as your romantic interest; so if that can be triggered, it would make sense that it could be carried over to Mass Effect 3
