It can be the redemption of the collectors! And since they're all-- Scratch that, nothing is ever certain with Bioware. Since they're mostly all dead, salvaging equipment shouldn't be that hard. 8D

Hope they keep Thane, but not some lame "omg collectors had the cure" explanation. More like a tough decision at the start of Mass 3 that results in life or death for him.

If they make it easy, it'll feel like they've cheapened Thane as a character somehow. I'd much prefer it a struggle, it being a tough choice for whatever reason, even, than to have it be a no sweat, no hassle, here's you Drell alive and healthy, sort of thing.
