I personally think that Thane and Garrus would make the most sense for having character-specific DLC. Garrus has his adventures on Omega, and Thane has his assassin career (Assassin's Creed anyone?).

That's what I'm thinking and it can even be connected with ME3, e.g., by having Thane encountering in a passed mission a character that will play a big role, so we will get to know something about that character's past and motivations.

Hmm... Thinking about it, I really hope that the companions will get to say something... Overlord was great, but it's weird when the only one talking is Shepard.

As much as i'd like to see Character driven DLC, they better deal with all ME2 loose ends first. There's just too many of them to leave for ME3

Seconded!  I would love to start seeing this fabled DLC  that will bridge ME2 and ME3 that Casey Hudson has talked about.  I'm all for Aegis packs and Overlord missions, I'll eat 'em up, but there's alot that can be done to start tying the stories together.

We just need to learn more about Thane. No matter how much he may have told my Shepard, there's still a lot she doesn't know about him. About her love. About her destiny.

I was surprised by the Leiliana DLC because I never thought the developers would focus on a single character out of several. I know the idea of a Garrus DLC has been mentioned several times in the Garrus thread... actually, even outside the Garrus thread. I think particularly in relation to his time on Omega as well. A Thane DLC seems like it would be geared toward a very particular job where he needs to go after multiple targets. I suppose we'd get more soul-searching of a DLC if we're looking at him specifically going after Irikah's killers. That would be one very dark DLC.

No other race in Mass Effect cultivates more hate for me than Batarians. They are like a race of Space-Terrorists.  If Thane has a DLC that deals with butchering these blinks, I want a cutscene wear we blind a Batarian one eye at a time with a gun that only breaks the skin.  Then again..Thane kills proffessionally so it might not happen. UNLESS If that DLC was where he avenges his wife!:)

Scrape each eye out until you hit the orbital bone. Very thorough, very official.

It would. I would love to play it, but it might be one of hose things where I'd only be able to play it once or twice.

Not because of gore or anything (I love gore!) but because of the spiritual darkness of it.

“A new technology is helping victims of the Vallum Blast breathe easier -- literally. Researchers at U. Thierax are attacking the myriad of respiratory diseases caused by inhaling dust around the blast site. Dubbed "medi-gel for the lungs," the Eupulmos Device analyzes a patient's tissue or medicard record before adjusting its virally-delivered superdrugs to match the patient's genetic predispositions. After that, the mister sprays the aerosol into the patient's nasal passages and the drug is absorbed into the lungs. The mister can also deliver microsurgery machines to make non-invasive repairs to tissue and has a color-coded nozzle at each end with separate agent reservoirs for dextro and levo patients. Said one ER staffer, "The effect is incredible. In a year, the whole galaxy will be using these things."”

I's just a preview to romance pack. We'll go to Taetrus to adopt a couple of turian babbies with Garrus, get medicine for Thane and, well, blow something up with Jack

Medi-gel for the lungs, interesting!  If this is the first hints at some sort of possible treatment I would be as happy as a leetle gurl.

*Happy dance* :wizard:
Maybe it doesn't have a meaning, but maybe, just maybe it is actually a hint of things to come. In the end why do they bother to post these daily news if they will mean nothing?

WOW!! Good catch, Mash! I don't usually bother reading CDN, though I did around the time when I first bought the game. It's been a while since I last played ME2 anyway; replaying ME1 for the 8th time at the moment. :DPosted ImagePosted Image

The only way to be reading the news is to start to game, isn't it?
