Grunt is one of my favorite characters because of just how well-spoken he is.  You're expecting this gruff, burly, in-your-face, I-AM-KROGAN ... and he is.  But he's also thoughtful and curious, he's not quick to anger, but once you get him fired up he's true krogan.  He's too awesome not to love.

The way Thane speaks, his mannerisms and how formal / polite he is did me in.  I think both Jennifer Hale and Keythe Farley did awesome.  

Speaking of Keythe!  I saw this today in the Garrus thread : Rockwall ()

I'm on there too!    I've posted a few things to his FB page.  He's a really nice guy, very laid back.  

He even knows about NSAS and had a laugh when we posted Chocolate Milk Thane on his FB page.  

Wow, looking at it just now he says he would've liked to have Thane say something in Overlord.  His page has been quiet lately, I wonder if he's doing some VA work (coughLiaraDLCcoughME3cough).

I actually thought he was kidding when he said he was hoping for Thane to say something in Overlord. I don't know; it just sounded like it to me.

And yes, he hasn't said anything in a while now. I wonder what's up...

If he is, he's under NDA and can't talk about it on FB.  And if he isn't, or hasn't been called up yet or whatever, he probably still can't talk about it for fear of alienating BioWare.  And that sucks, because I wanna know!

I like to think that Mordin is a Tupari drinker. He's been trying to convince Thane it will cure him, too.

They showed Tali and Garrus along with Shepard and Liara which is a good basis to think that the followers will have something to say after all, but, on the other hand, having the most popular characters shown in a promotional material shouldn't surprise and shouldn't lead to early conclusions. 

They could as well only have lines for those two, along with Shepard and Liara, just because the "old team" reunites. I really don't think Thane will ever be mentioned in this DLC and I don't think he'll say a word. 

I do really, I mean REALLY, want to be proven wrong by BioWare.

Hmm. I want to think BioWare wouldn't give Garrus and Tali lines but have zero for Thane et al. But I actually think this is going to be another totally silent DLC (squaddie-wise) like Overlord. Either way, we'll see.

I don't think it would be fair for BioWare to have two specific squadmates to say something in the DLC while leaving everyone else silent. If they're going to do it, they should do it with at least 50% of the squadmates, otherwise they will get flamed by, well, by us.

EDIT: And Mash's comment above is a beautiful reinforcement of that last bit.
