Yeah, but still. I want some answers Bioware!!! I guess I'm just looking for excuses for more Thane in me3. You do not have to defend the drell from me. Hanar yes, but not the drell.IccaRa wrote...
I don't think it was so much the drells' fault as it was the state of Rakhana to begin with. The whole reason drell even evolved eidetic memory was so they could remember water and food sources, because both of those were so scarce on their homeworld. From the codex and Thane's descriptions, it seemed Rakhana was never a rich world to begin with, and as the drell continued to grow and populate, they couldn't advance technology fast enough to combat the planet's quickening decay. Rakhana could only support so much life.
In order to build a reactor, you have to borrow from the world around you -- but Rakhana had very little to offer, so even small advances made for a huge cost. If we humans had lived on such a world, we wouldn't have been able to advance tech as fast as we have here on Earth -- we'd probably be technologically stunted and die off fighting for resources just like the drell almost did.
Thane Fanclub. Keep Thane Alive and in ME3!!!

anything just that it is stated that TIM isn’t concerned about smoking,
because they’ve eradicated cancer and emphysema (which is some kind of
degenerative lung disease). So what’s with Bioware’s obsession with lung
diseases? Or am I seeing it everywhere now?

I would love to read a script of Thane's vengeance and how he tracked down every single one involved in Irikah's murder.
I second this!
It would be interesting to read how Thane who usually is calm and collect goes all vengeful on those Batarians.

I hope Bioware tells us more about Thane's past in some form or other.

Finished the book. And all I can say is, I hate it when they throw nuggets about what's happening with Shepard but that's it. It would just be nice to NOT know then there would be no frustration! Argh!

I can't wait to get to the romance scene in my playthrough XD. I just love his romance scene. It isn't "Lets's have it!"
It is more like Thane pouring his heart out.

Wow.... there were hints of suicidality with his recruitment mission. Yeah, if you fail, he becomes suicidal.
Talk about burdensomness!
Okay that makes me want to help him even more. Thane has to find HOPE!!!! A reason to live....

Thane appears to be an information addict (in a good way; unlike Timmy). A few pages back I said something about how he fascinates me with his vast knowledge and point of view on things. There's a lot of wisdom in him, too. But he's not the kind of guy that shares everything he knows with anyone. He seems to follow the Knowledge Speaks, Wisdom Listens path, and in a very smart way.
