Huh I've had no problems with my game on the PC, loading has always been a few seconds even for Zaeed.

Oh, I haven't got a problem with load times or anything else. It's just the romance scene with Thane that's acting slightly flaky and a bit out of sync. Otherwise, everything else is perfect (mobs getting stuck in weird places aside, but that's something everyone seems to be dealing with - heh). I've been looking for updated sound drivers but can't find anything - meh. I'm not sure there are even Win7 drivers for my sound card/thing - Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 (the drivers I do have for it date back to Vista 64 drivers). Bleah, I posted in the bug forums so maybe there's something they can do.

Thane fans support this thread and hopefully bioware will add a dlc where you can try to find a cure for Thane after the end-game or just spend more time with him before he passes on

I actually thought curing him would be his loyalty mission. Guess that doesn't really fit with the closure/suicide mission plot. Oops! But now that he's survived (in many cases) the mission, is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Are the hanar doctors nearing a break through?

Dunno if anyone's mentioned this, but I like Thane because he's one of the only romance-able characters who has lots of conversations even if you're not romancing him.



Garrus is all like "I need to calibrate the weapons!", but it was quite touching for Thane to tell MaleShep that he was one of the only friends he'd made in the past ten years.



Plus, the guy's a snappy dresser.

Thane was my favorite character in ME2, but isn't his short time left to live kind of integral to his character? Without this, I think he loses a lot of what makes him so interesting.
