Totally off-topic, but I think this thread has taught some of the things girls like to see in a guy. :P

For me, great shoulders, who reads and can cry when hurting. The thighs and... ahem... bulge help too...

So.

What if Thane meets Feron in Lair of the Shadowbroker?

Okay, so for a plot twist... Thane meets Feron and they KNOW each other from their past but... maybe Feron was somehow linked to Irikah's either her courtship or death or long lost brother!

What if Feron is Thane's BROTHER!! OR HIS SON! OR GRANDFATHER! OR duhn duhn DUH... Father...

Thane, I am your father.

Soooooooort of.  Thane is different from Kaidan is different from Garrus is different from poor Jacob.  They all have their own romance fanbases for a reason.  This thread has taught you what Thane-lovers love about Thane.  If Jacob had cried at any point, I would probably have looked for a renegade option to punch him.  Thane made it work for me, though.

It has taught me that we are our own breed of crazy.  And we have a sense of humor.  And odd fixations with zippers.  And stares.

...And crotch.

I constantly forget about the age difference, though I have wondered at one point how drell change as they age.  Like... does their frill sag?  Get wrinkly?  Do their scales lose their luster?

Human character models, you can tell.  Asari, you can kind of tell and their lifestages have been mentioned here and there (something about natural skin color and scalp dying).  But there's not really any character model difference between Thane and Kolyat that I'd attribute to age.

Age, to me, always seemed like more of a physical appearance issue, and then a mental/emotional maturity issue.

Thane, however, is in top physical condition.  And his brain is sexy.  So even if he's got about 8 years on Shepard, I'm totally okay with this.

Totally.

okay.

with this.

That's his signature move. I had a frapsvid of his profile, he was doing that behind my Shep, Garrus was in the front. They were all faced the same direction. I think it was on Illium. I was laughing and calling it a Shep sandwhich. I never uploaded it to youtube. I should see if I still have it.

How... how do you make these things happen?  I lol'd a solid 5 minutes looking at this.  You're maaaaaagic.:wizard:

The collar popping makes me giggle when it happens.  I'd never seen the dust picking until some time last week.  I loaded into the Citadel and Thane and Shepard were doing synchronized shoulder/neck rolling.  Then he picked something off of his jacket and flicked it away.  It has yet to happen again.  I feel deprived.

Legion will not dance for me, either.:crying:

You're my brogan, aren't you Legion?

And the collar pop of awesome.

The first time I saw it I wasn't sure I did, so I had to sit there for another few minutes.

Waiting.  Watching.  From the darkest corner with the best view.

And saggy frills, crotch shots and Feron saying, 'Thaaaaane, I am your father!" made me snorf my soup.

Your friends don't dance.  And if they don't dance, well they're no friends of mine.

I managed to get Legion dance once with my FemShep. I was just stepping into the AI core and he was already dancing. When I was face to face with him, he stopped. It felt like a "Sir, yes sir" moment.

Possible.  But my gut is saying unlikely.

What if Feron and Thane had trained together at some point?  Maybe Feron was another drell chosen under  the Compact for service?  What exactly is Feron?  A soldier?  A spy?  A cake baker?  A vacuum salesman?

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but I will be just a little bit disappointed if Thane doesn't say anything at all in Lair of the Shadowbroker.  His story / background involves the Shadowbroker and I'll be one sad panda if Thane goes through the entire thing and says nothing.

And if we don't meet / see / talk to / have coffee with Feron.
