Keythe seems like a pretty cool guy and some of his work is in stuff that I would never have guessed.
Also, it's kind of fun to see if you can pick his voice out of some of the other random characters in ME2. I know for sure he voices Fortack, the krogan doctor on Tuchanka. It's the voice and the pacing of how he talks, it's very Thane-y. I'm sure he did a few others, but I haven't found them yet.

ah HA! The one time I heard it on TV, I think I was too distracted by the lulz of the commercial to even pay attention to the pitch at the end. And the last clips I found on youtube were just clips, not full.

I kept going back because of all the random things that could happen.
Would he have a flashback? Would he quote a random human philosopher? Would he stare intensely? Would he say something profound? Be spiritual? Would he confess his looooove? Would he talk about the taste of another's tongue in your mouth? I never knew what I was going to get, though I secretly kept hoping for solipsism moments where he'd wax poetic and freak out.
A stream of silver in the dark.
Looping, diving.
So fast, the eye can't follow.

Thane waxing poetic and freaking out... LOL I love that!
I kept muttering to myself all day, "purer than your intentions." Its in my head and I can't get it out.
One shots are fun. I actually enjoy short stories more than full length 5,000 to 10,000. Heck, I am the queen of short stories. 2,000 words. A couple of times I went over but mostly, 2,000 is what I shoot for. Anything more and you can get overwhelmed. Sometimes less is fun too. :happy:
I would just say, please share, if you ever feel up to it. Mine are all on FF.net. I have another one I need to load. That's another thing, 2,000 doesn't take very long. I should probably polish more but after a couple of hours I am usually ready to move on to something else.

I'm just surprised to hear they haven't started the voice acting yet. Or do you guys think it's still too soon? They started working on ME3 this past December.

I think it's still too soon. Most likely the voices would be some of the last activites as changes in the story line could still occur. I'm sure they wouldn't to record lines, pay for lines, that they wouldn't be using.

I think he's telling the truth. I'm just saying that it's bad enough sometimes with the 'Thane must die for his story to be meaningful' stuff that Keythe does't need to toss any more logs on that fire! Ultimately, I think whether they bring Thane back or not (and he really should at least be around for ME3) Keythe Farley did an amazing job of bringing Thane to life, he captured the character and his delivery of every line was just excellent.

I imagine Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer might have possibly started voice recording, but the others, probably not. That will probably ramp up next year, I'd imagine, once a release date is given for ME3. But I'm no expert and sadly, I have no inside track, it's only my opinion!
