Garrus is supposed to have a line about how he hasn't forgotten what they've "talked" about after the suicide mission, but it only seems to show up once in a blue moon. In about 8 playthroughs, I've only heard it once. >__<
I just started a new playthrough with a Shep who romanced Kaidan. I haven't even completed Garrus's recruitment mission yet and I'm already thinking of having her hook up with Thane. For completion's sake I'll need at least one Shepard who stays faithful, but I cant... resist... sexy... assassin... I'm so weak!

Indeed. Thane is too much for my FemShep to ignore.

I don't know about Garrus, but I'd imagine him to be no different than Thane -- basically commenting on what happened to the base. Or not?

he's commenting on the base. but with Thane you get three(!oh my god, three!) mushy romance-related dialogues, while with Garrus it's either calibrations, or some dialogue that presumably happened before the smex-scene. that's rather dumb, really

The pre-suicide mission romance scenes... I was disappointed in all of them.  Jacob's would have been the hottest if not for... I don't know how BioWare managed to screw it up, honestly.  Even bad porno should be better than what you get with the two maliens, but... the priiiize... *shudder*

Ah well, at least Thane and Shepard kiss and you get this really sterile shot of white pillows.  All you get with Garrus is an affectionate headbutt.


And considering that Mr. Taylor will tell you that Miranda requires a better man than him-- how do you romance that without thinking "Wait, Miranda deserves a better man than him, but I don't?"

Screw that!

I don't envy post-suicide mission Jacob romancers because those words trump everything else for me.  Have some self-respect, wimminz!  Or just use him like the piece of meat he is and then leave him broken and crying at the next space port.  NEXT!

Jacob for spare parts in ME3

I wouldn't use him for spare parts. He would be far more useful as a test subject to fire through a mass relay. You know, for testing the effectiveness of missiles being launched through mass relays for maximum damage, as part of the preparation against the Reaper invasion. I would rather start with launching Jacob through a mass relay than a missile I paid for.

The man is allowed to his opinions. I'm glad he wasn't designed to blindly agree with every new person you add to the team. For instance, he likes Samara and Garrus, but has immediate conflict with Thane and Tali.

I thought he was very nice to Tali. He says he wasn't part of whatever Cerberus did to her people, so he can't answer for that, but he'll give her access to the ship's whateveritisthatQuarians like. Very civil~



In fact, I think Jacob is a very likable down-to-earth guy.



My issue with the debrief was that, between the two of them and the damned AI, Shepard didn't get to say crap. /doomfist ****blocked.

It's true that you don't get to say much during the debrief, but as soon as it's over the first place I go is down to down to Life Support.
