I would never, never spoil the relationship-related Thane bit for those of you who haven't seen it.  Let me just say:   How can a video game character pull at my heartstrings so??  Are we sure we can't use Feron for spare parts?  I am still amazed at how great those dossiers were: absolutely hilarious, tearjerkingly sad, all sorts of interesting tidbits revealed, and who knows what I didn't even catch in my first read.  Wow.

I know, I'm being  vague, but I don't want to spoil it for any Thane romancers out there.  I'm still a die hard Thane fan, even moreso now, and I hope, wish, pray and will sacrifice kittens to have him in ME3.  Because he's just that awesome.

Thane w/Drell Assassin and Heavy Shredder Ammo equipped with Mantis is SO WIN!!



too bad in ME3 pretty much everything encountered will be synthetic or machine(at least thats what i think) so Heavy Shredder Ammo wont do much good, everything organic though....DEAD!!

It's not THAT bad.  The conversation at least.  The conversation is fairly short.  It's just something she slipped in that totally hit me all wonky and made me get all watery-eyed (and no, I did not romance her in ME1, though I hear she's a bit more tactless if you left her for Thane).  Most of what I've seen that pulls at others' heartstrings is not necessarily that part, though.

And still, it all gives me some kind of hope.

I know spoilers are technically allowed in this section of the forum, but Ima still keep it vague, too.  For now, anyway.

Yay!  More support!

I still take Thane everywher with me, even on more difficult modes.  Garrus, Jack, or even Zaeed's squad ammo make up for Thane's organic ammo (everything has freaking armor or shields or barriers or some combination thereof in Hardcore, at least).  Instead, I put all his points into his biotics and drell assassin.  Worked out perfectly.

And now with LotSB ability to re-train your squaddies, I can get rid of that one useless point in shredder ammo.

I loves my sniper.

I cried after what Liara said. So little time. I want more time, MORE TIME! Thank god for Dr. Chakwas, she gave me a glimmer of hope. Then there is the volus guy with his mister as a possibility for treatment.

I feel hopeful with a heartache. Why would you NOT want to romance Thane? Its bittersweet and so lovely. All my Shepard has is hope. Not worry or frustration, just hope.
