Sweet Lord of Murder!! That Sexy Thane vid is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! now I can't get that song out of my head!

1.) I absolutely adore that video.  Go 'head git drell wit it.

2.) That note being written pre-suicide mission makes a lot of sense.  Thank you, Hanar, for having the sense to ask someone about when you get it in your romance with him!  I feel like... a huge sense of relief.  It makes perfect sense now!  Oh God, I could squee!  But if he expected that they might die, why did he end up saving it instead of sending it?

3.)  You know, I hadn't actually considered the L-word as being the next from him before he cut himself off.  OH. HAINKPE.  I FORGOT.  I did post something small on FF.net.  It has my Thane-persepective pre-mission.  [*linky*]  I do think he was struggling with trying to get across what he was feeling, but I hadn't considered using Love.  Not that he didn't love her, just that love wasn't enough.  And there's something about him admitting he's afraid to die now that is just so... so...

4.)  I think I'm trying to not think of DLC.  It would be tricky.   It would have to cater to all Shepards, not just to those romancing him, or every LI would need a DLC (which they likely wouldn't do since, say, I wouldn't buy a DLC for a character I didn't romance).  I do wonder how he'd react to no longer having an eidetic memory.  It shouldn't change him too much... I mean, if he's learned anything, it's to live in the now.  For his son, memories weren't enough.  For him, memories aren't enough.  If a memory is as real as life, it's as valid as life, right?  If he's married in those memories, why move on?  And if he was always "away on business" while married, all he had were memories, so it shouldn't be so different now.

But it is... for romanced Thanes anyway.  So...  I don't know if they'd pick on that.

I'm guessing my Shep's not the only one to punch Elias Kelham for calling Thane 'frog boy', while playing the good cop.

My Femshep took ALL the renegade interruptions while playing the "good cop". I guess Thane was confused about her definition of "good cop"

I always use that renegade interupt when he calls Thabe frog boy. If it really were me he'd get more than a hit a round the head, he'd get his face smashed in! I always like how Thane looks so calm at that point, even though he's just been insulted he really does remain calm. I too like three Thanes. I just came up with a cunning way to save Thane! Thane clones! Clones which Thane can transfer his conciousness into!

What's really interesting is what Elias says about Shepard (gender-specific). See this video:

awesome!  it had the "I say we let him in, Elias doesn't need fingers to talk." line<3
and "I believe his exact words were, 'Do whatever it takes to make him confess.'" eeeeeeeeeeeheheeeee

I'd heard them before in my sound files, but hadn't witnessed them in game.  unggggggggggf
