How would people feel about a collaboration?
Everyone draws their own Shepard (One who romanced Thane, most likely) and they could all be
holding a banner that says something like "We support a cure for
Thane".


I know there are some terrific artists in this thread and this could be a great way to voice our opinion!

If everyone just draws the top half of their Sheps and colours it, I will put the whole thing together.

My femShep who romances Thane is totally paragon, I honestly can't see it any other way.  However, I'd be interested in hearing about a renegade Shep romancing him though.

If you choose all renegade options when talking to Thane, you can't romance him (apparently)

I'm assuming it's because most of the renegade lines seem to be rejections.

And they just happen to fall into the same location as the R/P options, because there's only so much space on a little on-screen wheel

Unfortunately, for some reason you can't be Renegade without being a total douche to Thane. So for reasons like that, even my intended Renegade character is coming out about 60% Paragon, 80% Renegade.

The number of responses to Thane centered around "Cry me a river" sort of annoyed me. I was nice to pretty much everyone my first time through so I didn't notice it then, but looking at it a second time, the Renegade lines aren't very equal for some characters. With characters like the Legion, Jacob, Zaeed, Thane, and Jack, Renegade responses are almost direct insults.

YES.

I dislike "renegade" being reduced to fart jokes and pushing weaklings in the mud.  That... might be an exaggeration.  Renegade originally felt like playing by my own rules and moral ambiguity.  I came into ME2 a renegade.  But so many of the renegade wheel choices were just lame.  The interrupts were cool.  But the options were lame.  Well... for how I invisioned my character, anyway.

Both my Thanemancing Shepards are Renegades, actually. The first was my racist, Earth First Shepard. I'd intended for her to be the one to finally give the base to Cerberus, because I figured I had to have at least one playthrough where I did that, but then Thane had to go and be Mr. Charming & Sexy so that plan was shot to hell. He drelled the racism right out of her. >

The other one is my current playthrough; a Sole Survivor who is angry at the entire galaxy because she's working with the organization that ruined her life and pretty much all her former friends have turned their backs on her. And once again Thane is pushing her towards a more Paragon path.

I can only draw stick figures, though. >_>

There is another person interested in drawing their Shep for this that will most likely be drawing a stick figure. It's the stick figure Shepard in the comics on deviantArt. Her Shepard is most recognisable as a stick figure though...
