Indeed , the game needs shirtless maliens, it was completely wasted on jacob since only 5% of players romanced him. 4% however did it for a laugh and the other 1% didn't realize thane and garrus were available (they also didn't play ME1 first so they didn't romance kaiden first either). Thane has a ZIPPER on his chest for crying out loud! Why wasn't it used? *frowny face* more half-nakedness please bioware.

Maybe BW wants to guage the reactions of females having the option to romance non humans? The verdict-YES PLEASE! The zipper drives us all crazy. Male non humans that is. Forgot about Liara

Indeed! Image IPB

Does anyone have any personal preferences how it should go? I wouldn't mind Thane sunbathing in a desert (for his health, of course!). I'm somewhat curious to see if his toes are joined like his fingers. Assuming he has toes, which I think he must. A lot of 'alternative therapies' advocate getting a tan. And if that includes getting a little 'scenery', heh, I'm all for it!

Or maybe they actually liked him?
I know I do.

I just got a mental image of Thane lying on his stomach on a warm, flat rock in a terrarium under a sun lamp.

Okay, that looks more like Feron, but you get the idea... LoL.

Agreed. Move over Michaelangelo's David, for artistic satisfaction, simply look at the 'master'.
Good grief, I'm devolving into idiocy.

@ leyannimatrix

Who wouldn't remodel a room on the Normandy into a giant terrerium after seeing that?

Thane is a work of art all on his own
I found a cute "easter egg" of sorts involving Thane-I'm not sure if everyone already knows this but when listening to those advertisments on the citadel, one adveritsing a biotic amplifier stating Shepard should wear it next time she's "Out on the town with Sere Krios" It totally made my night :D

Yes, the advert is very funny and changes with your LI. What I wonder is where the Sere came from. Has Thane been knighted by someone, is it just a term for male drell or is the advert just being polite? What do we think? My money is on drell term.

The first thought that came to my mind was a sort of formal reference to Thane. I had no idea an advert on the citadel would have LI specific dialogue...I must youtube this.

I thought Sere simply meant Mr in drell-speak. I doubt that any drell aristocracy survived the emigration from Rakhana, but it would kind of be funny if Thane was some kind of lord. Doubt it, however. Probably just an honorary term for a simple gentleman drell.

Makes you wonder what they'd call a lady-drell, though. Mere? Isn't that french for mother?

Does it change according to LI?  I could have sworn it happened to me while on the citadel before having reached the romance dialogue with Thane.  I know Thane needs to be in your party, but...

Time to go shopping with my Garrus-romancing Shepard!

When it did happen, though, I sort of imagined a semi-startled Shepard slowly and uncomfortably turning her eyes  toward Thane and mouthing the word "Sere??" at him and getting an equally confused wordless response.

I want to say someone else refers to him as "Sere Krios" as well, but it's eluding me at the moment.  I also assumed it must be some sort of drell title.  Immediately, I thought "Ser" then "Sir."  Sort of the drell equivalent of "Mister."  Butihavenoclue.

I haven't officially romanced Thane quite yet and I got the "Sere Krios" line. Just some flirting before his loyalty mission. I had Garrus with me at the time as well, somehow that advert just knew I had the hots for Thane. Busted Shepard.

Yep! I just went post-suicide mission with Garrus and Thane. I got the "Next time you're on the town with Sere Krios..."

My garrus-lover's not even a biotic. Silly advert.

I know of Sere Krios and Officer Vakarian... I can't remember what they say for Tali and I don't think I've taken anyone else when I activated the ad.

Omg, I replayed the Thane loyalty mission last night because I never heard Thane's dialogue regarding Earth (when you offer Mouse creds in exchange for information) and... just to be a jerk I told Mouse I didn't have the money after the fact. And then Mouse says something along the lines of "I did it to help you Krios! I thought he was your son!"

...and then Thane got all teary-eyed and said "He is."

AHH. I wasn't expecting him to respond like that. I felt so bad afterwards, LoL. X_x;;

Yes, sorry. It changes depending on which LI you have in your party with you. My apologies for the confusion. It even has one for Samara! all you have to do is have them in your squad and then walk up to the advert and it plays an advert for that potential LI. They don't have to be locked in. I'm ot sure what Garrus' is. I know Tali's is Miss Zorah, Thane=Sere Krios, Jack=Citizen ID not found. Found Garrus'. Garrus=Officer Vakarian, Jacob=Mr. Taylor and Miranda= Miss Lawson. All data acquired from own knowledge or ME wiki.

Huh. Guess I'll need to go with Garrus and someone who's not Thane. Poor Garrus was just standing there in the background listening while the advert insinuated his woman and a lizard. Rude!

edit: there we go.  left Thane on the ship and brought Kasumi instead.  Officer Vakarian indeed.
