Remember when I ask you guys how you feel with little competitions?

Well, this just popped in my head and I might do it! I am going to write a short one-shot story (600 words maximium) with these theme: Thane, children.

Again, if mods have a problem with this...I will stop.

Yes, I am going to write a one-shot that deals with children and Thane. My fanfic is going to be in the child's point of view maybe...need to brainstorm more.

If anyone was to join my little writing thing, you can can do anything even Thane and little Koylat or Mouse. As long it deals with Thane and children.

I'm going to give myself a week to write this. I'm a slow writer

If anyone wants to join, it can be a competition =D

I've actually been considering writing my own Thane fanfic lately. Still haven't made my decision; all depends on how hardcore my classes get within the next few weeks. But I think I've got some cool ideas.

I think that's an awesome idea, TheSweetGirl! I've been finding myself writing little oneshots, all of them involving Thane in some way or another. Thought I'd get it out of my system with one....I'm on my 5th (and I've just realized I've involved Kolyat in all but one. Drell powah!)
Strange. I've never written fanfiction before, and I've never had the courage to post them up on FF.net either. Forget perfect memories--drell must have mind control.
Anyway, ignoring my previous ramblings, count me in, sounds like fun!

The Sweet Girl, I love the idea. I look forward to your results. Unfortunately, I am a fairly good writer and write a lot of sci-fi books that I do nothing with but, I can't ever write about kids. Don't know why, I only include them in any of my novels if they play a vital role. As much as I would love to write about Thane, I can't do the kids side. My apologies. But, as I say, I look forward to the end result and hope you have fun doing it.

And I'm sure you are. Why shouldn't you be? I think you'll do a great job. Just let your passion for Thane spill into the story and you will have a master piece. I channel all my sci-fi knowledge and love into my stories and they seem to turn out just the way I want them. I'm working on one as we speak. It's just a hobby I seem to have picked up. I'm thinking of writting a Thane short story but I never seem to get around to it.

Was Thane's voice actor changed well into production? I was listening to some old audio, and he sounds...severely different. Besides that, in any unused files, I notice that Thane almost never has any dialogue.

His VA was changed, but I do not know at what point. There are sound files of the other voice, but, as far as I noticed, those were only for his acquisition quest. (for instance, the E3 preview has a different voice actor)

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite assassin on the Citadel in the Galaxy.
I like Thane as well. I think he is very good friend and he was a natural choice for helping in Suicide Mission/Final Battle, I somehow feel more confident while having him around. Oh, and anti-organic skills help too.
I was actually very surprised he hasn't turned out to be just another religious-fanatic-assassin despite his prayers etc. And I was really sad hearing about his illness. Really, REALLY sad. Maybe Miri will help, she's brought Shepard from dead, hasn't she? Curing Thane should be easy.

Ugh, I've been dreaming about ME3 so much lately. Not involving characters or anything...just me in Gamestop buying a copy and getting home, only to find out my computer doesn't work. It's terrible I tell you!

(I had a weird dream last night but it was sweet. Me and Thane were fighting slavers. That dream made me sleep over! XDDD)



Question for today: (A "What If" question)



If Thane and Jacob did have a loyalty conflict conversation that Shepard had to solve, how would you see the conversation go? What would each o fthem say and if Shepard chooses one over the other, what would they say?
