Also, he drinks liquids.
I'm just not of the opinion that coming in contact with water briefly will be detrimental to him. Whereas, prolonged exposure to humidity (read as: amount of moisture saturating the air) would be bad. I'm not saying my opinion is better or more justifiable. I'm just sayin'.

Even from a metagaming perspective, bringing him to Pragia isn't really justifiable. Not unless he actually had something unique to him that happens or is said during the mission, similar to bringing Legion to the Migrant Fleet.
Are you sure you don't mean from a roleplaying perspective. From a metagaming perspective it definitely is justifiable. You know that the game doesn't register in a permanent way that you took Thane to Pragia, so you know that it technically has no bearing on his health. You are free to pick whom you want. From a roleplaying perspective, you might risk him anyway, or you might decide the cost is too great.

Alrighty. So, how does Thane bathe?
Duh, dirtbaths. He is a lizard. He totally rolls around naked in piles of sand and dust.
(I have no clue how actual lizards clean themselves.)

Is that a...reference...to something?

I think it's a reference to the Mighty Boosh.
Ack! I'm supposed to be lurking!

Okay, I've been a member of the forums for a little, but got all focused on school. Just recently, I found time to read all 237 pages of this thread and I gotta say, congratulations on some wonderful and funny conversations

You should join in on the conversations! I've read this thread in its entirety as well, I love reading conversations about my favorite video game character in existence. After reading this thread, you start to notice that a lot of previous forumites seem to disappear. Real life must have gotten in the way.

And, as conversations arise, I probably will join in. As I was going through the pages, I'd see things and be like "Oh, I want to talk about that!" and I then I remember that those conversations were from months ago, and to suddenly chime in would look silly. I'll be a regular here though, or will at least try, until school pulls me away again. Real life really does get in the way of everything.

If you ever want to bring something up that isn't currently being discussed, just do it anyway. It could start a nice group discussion.

It made me think though; if Kolyat were to somehow get killed in ME3, how would Thane react? Kolyat's his only son, and as important as Shepard is to him, do you really think she'd be enough to possibly comfort Thane, or even keep him focused on the mission after his son dies? Just listening to him if you fail his loyalty mission, it seems quite clear to me that Kolyat was one of his last driving forces in his life. I couldn't imagine what would happen if he died.

I actually read all the pages of this thread myself. It wasn't 237 pages at the time though. I don't think I could read all the pages of the other fan threads some of them are pretty large.

Well, as long as they're about characters I'm interested in, it should be enjoyable. I'll save my least favorites for last. Like Miranda.
