Double posting, I know. But I can't play ME2 at the moment and I'm bored--



How do you guys think Thane would react if he knew all these people adored him, male and female? I always thought he was a bit shy in that department, having rarely talked to anyone outside his family. Curious to hear your guys' opinions.

Thane looks up from his desk at hearing that. He clasps his hands in front of him, nodding.

"That is...intriguing."

Returns to solipsism/meditation/ect.

[Wouldn't expect anything more than this. It's something he needs to process after all, and the adoration of many is trivial compared to the adoration of those that matter most]

I don't think he'd be particularly flattered or insulted. Alarmed, maybe. He does have a habit of going to the mess when it's most likely to be empty-- always with his back to the wall and a nearby exit planned in advance.

She shows him a can, tilting her head to the side with a sly smile.  "Whipped cream.  It's a delicacy back on earth.  But it has to be served in a ... certain way."
Thane perks an eyebrow: "That is...intriguing."

See?  Works everytime.  *drops mic*

I think inflating his throat is something Thane is suppose to be able to do, but I can't really remember.  You probably won't see that in ME3 though.

Adding to the chaos is a good thing. I think you should. Thane needs more fanfic. Unfortunatley I'm not any good at it so I leave it up to others.

I know that drell possess a hyoid bone in their throat (that white "collar" thing he wears is the bone, I think -- giggity) that enables them to make vocal sounds outside the human range, hence why Thane has that lovely, soothing growl in his baritone. It's also possible he's able to communicate in other ways with his throat -- giggity -- like body language, the same as any species. Inflation... I dunno. I can see the guys at BioWare suggesting it, and all the girls giving them disapproval +95.

EDIT: Oh, they also have a three-chambered heart. /nerdout

Well, the few times Thane has "yelled" in game I squee'd. Hard.
