@Hedgepath

If I insulted you, I apologize. I saw your post correcting Tash in the wrong light and got defensive. My intention wasn't to chase you away from the thread or cause anyone discomfort, I have a way of jumping the gun sometimes. You are free to discuss whatever you want, whether in relevance to the subject at hand or not. Most of the time we goof off in between serious discussions anyway. Please dismiss my rudeness and let's start over.

I missed this due to me laughing at the motivational thread for an hour. What I meant (three days ago) is that I'm glad that the hanar rescued Thane's ancestors so that Thane himself could pop up and help us defeat the collectors. That's all Image IPB
And hedgepath, join us in our conversations! Yeah, we are a bit silly at times (in a beautiful and yet, geeky way) but I, for one am interested at this Keprel's syndrome study you have done.
Candy? I like candy... I believe someone promised to bake us Thane shaped cookies a while back... Image IPB

Aww Tasha, I hope you feel better!  I just recently got over a stupid cold and nagging cough that lasted about 2 weeks.  Being sick is awful!

As for the Thane-pop... Raven, you are my hero.

It should probably have a warning label: Do not drive or use heavy machinery after licking this Thane-pop, as it may cause hallucinations, skin rash, and/or melting into helpless puddles of goo.

I agree that it is necessary, but I don't think it's very good for the story. The reapers are out there, but her lover just died - and it was Garrus for me :( - she shouldn't fall apart, true. But she has emotions, and she gave a reaction to whoever died on Virmire, and there was always the locker scene in ME1. But I guess Bioware didn't have the resources to devise a new ending if a lover died during the suicide mission. I just didn't think it was great for the story. And looping this back to Thane, I hope they have an epic ending planned for him because even though I wish it could be otherwise, I suspect that he will pass away :(

This is true. Shepard did show emotion with the person left to die on Virmire. I had forgotten about that locker scene. I understand that she still has a mission, but she had a mission in ME1 too. She had to stop Saren. Maybe Bioware didn't have the resources or they just didn't care.

I am not creative when it comes to warning labels, I'll admit. :?

Ok. That is it Raven. That has just become my wallpaper. So amazing guys! My flu has gone after 12 hours sleep (never slept so long in my life.) :)But I am sure that this lollipop will make me feel better *licks the lollipop*
Hmm, I suddenly have a horde of garden gnomes insulting me. The colours are so blurry, there is a shiny golden path taking me to the horizon... And scottish gargoyles are taunting me, and suddenly, I have a butler who sounds exactly like John Cleese...
Curiously, this is not the result of hallucinations. I'm just playing Fable!! :)

I loved Fable, Fable II and now Fable III. Was playing lastnight, again. Just going around finishing quests, did the multiplayer thing.

I was telling my husband, it would be nice to have a multiplayer option with Mass Effect 3, then again, maybe its just me.

Thane-pop... we need a jingle. A ditty for our adverstisement campaign.... Okay may be not.

Never played Fable myself. My husband thinks there is something a little odd about me liking Thane so much, and love the Thane lollipop.

I am constantly teased about Thane but that's okay. I can take it. Anything for Thane. LOL

I too highly recommend Fable. In the words of Stephen Fry, as Reaver, who is in Fable "You will laugh, you will cry, you will have your sinews gnawed upon! Let out the hobbes!" I love that scene. Thane pop! I think that'd be great for ladies. If they were hellucinating I might actually get a girlfriend and possibly even a wife! LOL. There's nothing wrong with liking a character and enjoying that character so much you become obsessed with them. Oh, wait... Joking. It's fine to like a character a lot and become a bit of a fanatic.

This should be in the potential jingle somewhere.

Fable. <3

As a progressively nerdy fan of BioWare since Baldur's Gate 2, there is nothing wrong with obsessing over a character. Don't worry -- symptoms are not permanent. I remember fangasming in Dragon Age. And then I started playing ME2 and met Thane.

"Alistair who?"

I can't decide whether the Thane-pop is amazing or disturbing >< I think I'll settle for calling it hilaribble :)

The Thane-pop requires its own grammar to express itself, so yes, hilaribble indeed. :>

I... have to agree. XD I'm leaning towards amazing, but then I accidentally see Thane's head on a pole and feel DISTURBED.

Then I just stretch my tongue forward to the pop and hallucinate the disturbedness away.
Ehhehhhee...

Hey, why's no one filling that MK prompt about Thane and romance novels? :( Thane thread, we need to deliver!

Silly Nei. It is being filled!

http://masseffectkin...=634953#t634953
(a friendly reminder that MK fills are usually NSFW. This one's good so far, but you never know where it'll go)

Oh, Thane-pop. I fear it might be outsold by the ever-popular Feron-pop (it's rainbow, that means more flavors!)

ÖSKANFÖN I *just* checked that prompt and it wasn't there when I looked!
Or was it?

Everyone has a husband? Hehe, Fable 3 is fantastic! And I, too have been a Bioware groupie since Baldurs Gate Raven. Then I played Icewind Dale, Neverwinter nights, KotOR, Dragon Age and then Mass Effect. And I preferred Zevran over Alistair. However, I prefer Thane and Garrus over them all!! 'But the priiize,' shutup Jacob... And Sable, I think that the word 'hillarible' pretty much sums up the amazing madness on this thread :D
And Hainkpe, have you heard of the rumour going round that their is gonna be a Mass Effect multiplayer spin off? It is being discussed on another thread.
A question to pose: What alignment is Thane? According to the alignments on Baldurs Gate which are Lawful, Neutral, or Chaotic good. Lawful, true, or chaotic neutral, or lawful, neutral or chaotic evil. I see him as a true neutral guy, I will explain why after hearing your thoughts.

Oh Raven and Tash - you silly chickadees... Zev is scrumptious, Alistair is adorable... but Anders is the one that melted my poor Warden's little heart.   Why oh why no romance??

I can't argue with that!

I will have to bow out on contributing anything serious to your question as I have not played the game.  I've heard so many good things about BG - must play sometime!
