Tasha are you feeling well? Thane over Garrus? Who are you and what have you done with Tasha!

Neutral
And...A farmer whose primary overriding concern is to feed his family is of this alignment. Most animals, lacking the capacity for moral judgment, are of this alignment. Many roguish characters who play all sides to suit themselves are also of this alignment.
Lawful Neutral
As for Dragon Age, I preferred Alistair in the beginning but I'm tempted to try a Zevranmance. We shall have to see, as I am still in my ME2 craze. :>A Lawful Neutral character typically believes strongly in Lawful concepts such as honor, order, rules and tradition, and often follows a personal code. A Lawful Neutral society would typically enforce strict laws to maintain social order, and place a high value on traditions and historical precedent.

Oh, no apologies necessary. I myself am guilty of indulging in Garrus-mance in a couple playthroughs. Who doesn't love Garrus?Tasha vas Nar Rayya wrote...

I know what you mean! Death isn't gonna keep Thane down! Thane's very name means 'death' in ancient Greek (I only know a bit, but Thanatos also means death in ancient greek.) But anyways, Thane is so gonna come back, he will battle through Keprel's syndrome. I don't suspect they will simply find a cure, but they will come up with an incredible plot twist to make Thane fine and dandy for ME3!
I hope they do. I don't think that this is asking to much.

It won't last.
That's ok. I think Garrus is great and I like him, but there is just something about Thane.

As to Thane vs. Chuck Norris? I think guns and biotics will defeat roundhouse kicks any day!
And finally, regarding my adoration for Garrus, I shall just very casually, and very smugly leave these poll results right here... Notice how he even outnumbers the Talimancers?

Man, every time I see Jacob's poll numbers... *shakes head* That poor man.
The thing is we end Mass Effect 2 in the Normandy. Everyone has one new thing to say to Shep depending on how he / she dealt with the Collector's base, but then we're all back to flying around in space waiting in preparation for the Reapers. I can see a few people taking shore leave. Maybe Thane goes back to the Citadel to visit his son and rejoins Shepard later in the game? I dunno.

But... Garrus beats Tali!!!! Even though I think Tali is ace... Sorry Tali.
True, I can't see the whole crew being with Shepard on the Normandy at the beginning of ME3. It would be too overwhelming for newcomers. I think they will have a little something of their own to do (eg. Thane with his son. Grunt fits in on Tuchanka, Samara finally returns to her other two daughters, Garrus talks things over with his dad or visits his mum and sister etc.) But I think that it will be like ME2. The original sqad go their separate ways, but a few of them will rejoin Shepard.

Unless Thane dies between ME2 and ME3, doubtful but possible, I don't see why he wouldn't somehow be reinstated in ME3 -- same goes for the other romantic interests. Tali might return to the Migrant Fleet depending on how you handled that, Garrus for Tasha's given reasons, Thane for his son. Jack might leave out of fear of getting trapped, but I can see her returning -- the Normandy seems to be the only place that gave her a sense of stability, and Shep romance-wise. And Miranda and Jacob... why would they leave? They're Shepard's top operatives.

Don't worry JECWSU, course they will! If not, then he will have a large mission I'm sure, very lair of the shadow broker-esque I'm sure. Then again, Virmire survivor just had some lame cameo (do not say such things Tasha!)

I don't really pay a lot of attention to polls, because not everyone who plays the game votes on them, or even comes to these boards. Although Garrus seems to be the one character nobody really hates. Tali has a lot that love her and a lot that don't. I haven't really seen any Garrus hate. I do wish Thane had done better though. As for Jacob. He just can't catch a break. I don't think he is such a bad guy.

I really, really liked Jacob this playthrough; he's grown on me a lot. Never a romance option for me--poor guy gets friendzoned so hard. But Jacob is sane, reasonable, and stable--traits that no one else on the Normandy seems to possess. It's easy to undervalue having someone on your ship who isn't crazy, but I came to really appreciate the fact that Jacob always had his head screwed on the right way, even if he did have his biases.
