What is up with the boards today!?  I haven't been able to do anything all day.  It is still acting up for me.  For the longest time, it just kept asking me what language I wanted, and then never loading the actual site.  Grr!
I highly approve of what has happened here in my absence, though.  Drellicking indeed.  You girls are the bestest!

I have no idea what it means. The only conclusion I can draw, aside from being dirty about it, is that someone screwed / is screwing with the HTML on the site.

It's been said before, but Thane is thus far the most affectionate ME romance. You hold hands, you kiss passionately, and he writes you a letter declaring he loves you. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Kaidan. No offense to Kaidan's fangirls.

LOL.  I fully endorse this fix.   That interrupt would have been EPIC.  Would this be renegade?  Or do we need a new category...?

I agree. He may be "stoic" and all that, but he IS affectionate. You certainly didn't do that with any other LI's. And that letter...you wouldn't get that from anyone else. It might have been nice to actually hear the words too. Or talk to him about the letter. That would have been awesome!



Cora, I feel your pain. I *tried* to be "loyal" to kaidan, but the only way I found to do it was play a male Shep.

You know, lately, I've been trying really hard to reboot my mindset to the one that I had prior to playing ME2, to explore my Shepard more and to get a better hold of all the things she actually went through during ME2 emotionally. I'm finding it harder and harder to get in touch with the part of me that really liked Kaidan... This is slightly character breaking for me, because myShep really had feelings for Kaidan and I kept holding back on Thane and having some major guilt issues for a long time when Thane got his siha moves on. Of course, I *wanted* Thane from the beginning, but the wounds from Kaibuns were darn fresh... and now I just can't play the game like that anymore, because all I'm feeling is "LETS GET THIS HORIZON OVER AND DONE WITH, I NEED MY FIX OF HOT ASSASSIN DRELL."

I'm a ho for Thane.

That's the immersion for me -- the painful realization that after two years on an operating table, the people you loved have moved on and so have you. That's how it was when my Shep ran into Liara on Illium for the first time. As much as I adored Liara in ME1, it simply wasn't to be in ME2. I went all poutyface when Liara rejected Shepard, and then when she met Thane... ohmahgawd. *compatibilityswoon*

I never did romance Liara. It's not that she's female, she just didn't do it for me. At all. Firmly in the BF (Garrus has BFF) zone.

He is the only LI to have any kind of romantic content in his dossier.  I hope that's a good thing and not a bad one.

Would you tell Thane you read his letter if given the opportunity? I know he had no intention on you seeing it until he died.

I would. I would be honest with him, say that it was in Shadow Broker's files and I didn't know what I was getting into, admit that I feel terrible about peeking into something so private behind his back and apologize. Then try to talk about some of the things he said, like being selfish for wanting to leave me with something that won't fade, tell him that not having an eidetic memory doesn't mean he'll disappear from my heart like "out of sight, out of mind". And admit that I don't know what I would do without him.

And demand that he explain to me wtf is up with not getting in the lung transplant queue.
