I just pictured that underwater city on Naboo in The Phantom Menace. That would be ****in'.
Not sure what the censored word is and whether that's a good thing
I think Thane is due an epic quest tied to his story, his loyalty while a personal affair just involved walking, standing still, walk, stop, walk etc. and a trip to Kahje either tying up loose ends and/or finding a solution to Kerpals seems to be the desired route.

@Sparroww but what a nice, walking, talking and standing it was. After all, we are talking about Thane. The guy can blink and make it look attractive.
Edited to add link!! *don't take another sip of that coffee when you click it mnomaha!!!*

I love the non-combat missions. Adds some flavor to the rest of the monster mash that is the game. Thane and Samara's missions were my favorites -- admittedly, Samara's over Thane. Something about ME2 makes me enjoy danger and dancing in a dingy night club to attract a highly-evolved killer was neat. But I also loved acting in unison with Thane on his mission; the interrogation room (of course, I tweaked the save editor, again, so I could use the "I'm a Spectre. Start talking." option), communicating with each other while I was on the maintenance catwalks, disarming Kolyat... Thane and I were totally bromancing it. And then we were romancing it. Bow chicka bow bow...

His LM was ok considering it featured no combat and all but it felt strange that despite Thane doing all the sneaking around, Shep just walks across a platform and seems to do all the work while Thane is out of sight.

Welcome Sparroww!
Yessss, more Thane (unzipped would be good) is always in demand around here. You'll fit in nicely.
Actually, meant to question his LM before. Has anyone had there game glitch before the last door? I went to update Thane and instead it went straight to Kolyat shooting what's-his-fringe and an epic fail. This happen to anyone else?

I know!
In ME1, FemShep got her dance groove on. In ME2 she dad-dances. I blame muscle memory loss. Curse you, death!

Raven! You cheeky little rebel-you go girl! LOL
Yeah, I enjoyed them too. Maybe because it was based less on bleeding out and more on something (someone) important depending on you. Especially in Thane's case. Everything depended on a good outcome for that, whereas, as much as I do love Samara's character, she's not my LI, so less of an emotional investment.

Yeah this happened to me once; it's just before the storage room and next thing I know I see Kolyat shooting as well, only time I'd failed his LM and felt really sorry for Thane.
PS: Oh and thanks for the welcome guys, nice to see on the forums.

I, too, am highly disappointed in Shep's dancing skills. She needs to take a few lessons from this guy the next time she's on the Citadel.mnomaha wrote...

Me too. I really liked those two missions... mostly just because they were different. I agree that Samara's was a little more interesting throughout. The catwalk part was a little bit dull (except for the aforementioned turian). But the rest of Thane's mission was great - talking to Mouse, punching Kolyat across his big blue chin. Awesome.ravenimage wrote...

I think the Hanar in cahoots with the Reapers. So that would mean, Thane is a mole! Oh no, say it isn't so!
Yeah, I agree about the Hanar. Said something a couple pages ago. Ugh, only my second coffee so bear with me...
Oh yes, Protheans gave Hanar voice. Hanar are genetically modified by the Reapers, just like the Citiadel's keepers and are just waiting...something like that.
I don't think Thane is a mole. I think he is blindly loyal to the Hanar, as one would be when they are taken away at age 6 and trained to do and believe a certain way..aka brainwashing.
*gasp* need more coffee. Too much, too soon, too early...
