/Lurking mode turned off

It's been a while since the Thane litho has been released, has anyone found a better photo of it? I mean, the preview on the Bioware page is reallyreallyreally small. I'm not hoping for a wallpaper-sized version, but something bigger than that small thumbnail at least :-/

I once saw a good image of it on EBay. I don't know if it's still there.

you might want to ask around in NSAS, a few members certainly bought it and might provide a hi-res or something

i think

Loving our Thane fanfic guys! If that actually happened, I am sure Thane would be very confused, but loved up nonetheless! Just hopping on here on my work break, I really wish I could spend more time on the thread cuz I miss out on joining on all the posts when I'm gone. :(

I love the drellicking idea. I'm part of NSAS but I haven't been posting on there, I shall find the time to do so. And I am so proud of the drellicking banner!! Yeah!

So, I have a question for you all: What is Kolyats view on assassination? He wanted to take it up, but he resented his dad for spending all his time fulfilling his contracts, so how does he view a proffession as an assassin?

Thane was for me the most unexpected characters in the game. Conversations with him completely - "competing" with conversations with M. Solus ... Romantic line with him (fem-Shep) - the most exotic and emotional in a game. I suggested that Thane is not only can survive in the next part of the game. If an "romantic line" with him was in ME2, then the case is over wedding ... . I tried to compare all types of romantic relationships (fem-Shep) in one of my film-story (second part of the film). The main "base" in his story - the musical theme:

Yeah, I love spending time here during work. But sometimes it's a frantic alt-tab to get off the page. :)

Ah yes, drellicking. It's right up there with chocolate milk!

As for Kolyat. I got the impression that it was a "I'll show you" kind of thing. He received those files and was understandably upset. He did the first thing that his angry little teenage mind came up with. So even though he thought Thane was dead, he was still had that revenge mindset. He knew Thane didn't want that life for him, so he would have chosed it just to get even with a "ghost".

I wonder if Drell have sports and what kind. I can see Turians playing some form of rugby, aside from the obvious beating each other to obvlivion, but not sure what else.

Maybe chess?

Shep sprung the theory that Kolyat was doing it to be closer with his father, a thought which haunted Thane more than any other. I'm not convinced Kolyat even knew his father was a hitman in the first place, until he saw the contents of the package left for him. Thane was very careful to keep business and family separate, and Kolyat was genuinely shocked to learn that his mother's death was indirectly his father's fault. But yeah, I'd call it a revenge thing. There could be a number of emotional reasons he'd do it. At the same time, I'm not sure it was a revenge thing until he saw the package -- otherwise why would he be on the Citadel in the first place? He had a holo of Mouse. Perhaps he just wanted to find his father.

I can see them with some form of sport that requires a **** ton of endurance, maybe a ball. What was that sport played by the Aztecs? The one where you have to get that ball through the hoop waaay up on the wall. No, not basketball.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Revenge after he found out why he was gone all the time.

The Road to El Dorado! I think it's just called the Mayan ball game. Definately that one.

Cora, that's your cue.

Ode to Zipper

O Zipper,
How I'm longing
To hear the chitter
Of you opening

My heart fills with hope
Thinking of the feat
Of seeing the slope
Hiding underneath

All the delicious
Gorgeous little scales
On a man so gracious
Man of many naughty tales

Zipper don't you see
I truly wish to believe
One day you shall be
But a distant memory

That day oh how
My hands will roam
Far down low
All the way home

I... love that movie. Or anything with a humanized horse, really.

And the village rose up in praise, hot tears of joy springing forth from their redshot eyeballs (for they had stayed up all night on the BioWare forums and were greatly exhaustimified.)

I've never written a poem in my life before that, I guess this seemed good place as any to start.
I had never really written fanfiction before either, but Thane made me.

Thane makes me a lot of things. ;)

Raven - I... I must confess I know the feeling. More nights than one, spent in wondrous fangirl haze.

Also, thank you, thank you everyone. It is nice to know my, errrr, great artistic contributions are appreciated. XD

The horse, Altivo (thanks google!) makes that movie one of the best!! He's so funny!

Yeah, what she said!! Although my late is generally most of your very early mornings. Bloody time difference!

Ah, such a lovely poem, although nosebleeds at work are generally frowned upon. LOL

You are very much appreciated. Don't stay gone so long!

Welcome ZABL2010!  I couldn't agree with you more about Thane.  I went into ME2 fully convinced I'd be romancing Garrus to death.  But, then I met Thane, and well... that was that.  I love his romance.

Aww, you guys. <3

If someone volunteers to do this 25-page thorough financial analysis and forecasting of KONE corporation for me, I'll be more than happy to stay with you guys nonstop. Stupid real life, disturbing my fangirling businesses. :(

I have SO MUCH unfinished fanmaterial on the works. There's the on-going bowl of lemons, there's another bowl of lemons waiting to be baked with Thane/Irikah, I've got this Thane/Shep letting go of their past lovers pic of symbolic fail in the works, one Kolyat pic, one Shepard pic, one Thane pic and one Thane/Shep/Feron pic of such questionable nature that I can't believe I'm actually doing something like that...... :bandit:

Why can't I work on all that now instead of stoopid analysis. I've spent so much time with Thomson Banker database that despite our previously passionate relationship, right now our love is facing some dark times.
