Baldur's Gate 2. But play as a dude, 'cause the only male romance option is yawn. Also, there are the KOTORs, Jade Empire, and probably something else I'm forgetting.

Nah.  Play BG2 as a girl, and mod the hell out of your game.  Basically, you can create your own harem of hot guys if you so choose, though quality is limited by modder skill, of course.  NPC romance mods range from the good to the asschafingly awful.

Oh, lots of choices. Definately a single kinda player. But BG2 looked good. Was also looking at JE and the witcher. Just on Steam now and going for price. If I have to pay $124 NZ for DA2, I gotta start saving.

I looked at starcraft and it looked a bit too much, but will do some more investigating. Thanks for the ideas and let me know if you come up with more. btw, I know there are some kotor people on here...it looks old school. Would that be a correct assessment?

I never played KOTOR, I'm afraid. Not as big a Star Wars fan as I'd like. I was tempted to try it out m'self. I do know that KOTOR is old and uses a dialogue system like DA. The graphics are definitely old school. Not sure about the combat system. And the romances seem fine, I only know about Carth and Bastila.

KOTOR's a fantastic game. 2003, I think, so it's old but not exactly old school. The combat system is dice and stat based, a modified version of the Star Wars d20 system. And JE, while not my favorite BioWare game in terms of roleplaying and characters, has gorgeous music, a super-fun combat system based off martial arts, one of my favorite villains ever, and some epic plot twists. Basically, if you know Avatar the Last Airbender, you'll like JE.

As for SC2, I'm terrible at RTS, and I learned to like SC2. It's very, very newbie friendly, both in the tutorials and in the single-player. Multiplayer is online multiplayer--there will be jerks, but for the most part people are ok.

I loved JE. Made me cry. The story affected me very deeply, the music was GREAT, and the villains oozed with awesomeness.

Also, going back to a previous conversations about the possibility of Thane having neck frills, I think? Here you go.

Well, Steam seems to be narrowing down my choices quite a bit. Only has kotor and jade empire, no BG2 or SC2, doesn't seem to have any version of these games. very sad.

Guys, guys, do you have any idea HOW MUCH they outed? :D It's got the game description, giving a glimpse at the PLOT. GUYS. I AM BEYOND EXCITED RIGHT NOW!

Here are screenshots of ME3 on EA store and the game description!
Spoiler alert for those wanting to avoid EVERYTHING about the game. There's nothing more than the stuff that they'd put in the game's box cover, but still. I KNOW NOW WHICH WAY ME3 IS GOING. D: :D :D

I cannot control this excitement! :D

Well this is very exciting.  I'm a little nervous too, but still very  excited about ME3 news.Posted Image

It would be nice if they gave us a tentative release date. And well, you know, squad info. But that might be hoping for a bit too much.

I would venture to say we won't be the only ones. If they show something about Thane, I will probably scream. Just sayin. :)

I'm worried they won't say what we want to hear. That would make me scream louder. But I shall remain faithful and patient. Stoic even. :)

Yeah, me too, but I AM going to remain optimistic. At least until they shatter it. LOL I'm trying soooo hard not to be a downer.

Also, I just got confirmation from spike tv that those of outside the US/Canada area cannot stream from spike.com. Hopefully someone else will be able to stream it on their website. Sucks!

I'm trying to be optimistic too. I just hate not knowing what is going to happen to Thane.

I'm sure someone will have it up so everyone can watch.

If not, they'll probably go over it somewhere else -- like Facebook. I am also without Spike TV.. I'm pretty sure. I should check that out.

Anyway, ladies. Don't lose hope--

Honestly, part of me thinks it would be more cruel to have no information about Thane at all. However, that old addage "no news is good news" keeps popping into my head. Not sure which side of my poor wee brain to listen to.

Thanks for the pic Raven. I so love Thane pics.

You're also very welcome for the pic. By now you must realize that I have a bad habit of posting pics. :>
