Other writers could have possibly contributed bits here and there, but Chris L'Etoile (aka Stormwaltz), Thane's writer no longer works for Bioware.

I believe he did, if I remember what I was told correctly.

He's said, that at one point he thought Thane had gone through some rewrites.  Then he said that no, Thane hadn't gone through any rewriting.

Icca could clear it up, she would know better than I.

About Thane's writer - these news are very very unnerving to me. D: Altough, if he left even before ME2 was finished, then I'm full of hope that he was just... a contributor, not... The Thane.

And why did the guy have to go to a studio making mmorpgs, there's no way I'm ever touching that stuff. : (

I think David Gaider once commented about how, even if a character is assigned to a certain writer, they usually collaborate.



I hope the ME writers work in a similar way, that way even if Thane writer left there should be no problem...

While I'm terribly sad to see him go... I'm also kinda relieved. >_> It's just that he gives me this gut feeling, this... he says things like "My glass is always half empty" and generally seems like a person with not much belief in happy-ish endings.



We all know what this would mean for Thane in ME3. Sorry to see you go, Thane!Daddy, but it gives me hope that I might not have to say goodbye to Thane. I can't say goodbye to Thane. *tears!*

I wouldn't mind the ultimate sacrifice ending as a last resort. Real heroes are martyrs, after all.

Thane's best feature are his eyes. The way they flutter and drop, and that double-blink he does. It's like staring at a big puppycrocogator. His lips are a close second. Plump.
