Hopefully not to long. I really would like to know who is going to be in your squad, and of course I hope Thane is one of them.

I hope so too. I would really feel robbed if I had do go recruit an entire new squad when I have an absolutely perfect one already. That would be such as waste of time spent on ME2. Thane better be there!!

Yeah... that would have been even more nerdgasm-inducing. But, I guess the trailer was aimed at getting people who are unfamiliar with the ME universe interested. If it had been all character-specific, it might have been confusing to newbs to the franchise. They've got us sold already. You know they'll string us out and release little tidbits slowly over the next *cringe* year. That seems so far away...

Tentura, your foot will fall off mate! I'm conviced BW has an evil streak a mile wide. They are going to make us wait an almost unbearable amount of time for any info. Those "leaks" were just an example of what is to come.

edit: I just think it would have been crazy cool for all of them to walk off towards the camera. That would have been drellgasmic.

^mnomaha, that would be the most epic trailer ever! I can see that being the trailer they release as the final launch trailer... like a week or something before release. Just to turn our fangirl insanity up to 11.  Seriously, we are going to need a padded, soundproof bunker for our family and friends to send us to in the months up to release.  We are going to be unbearable for those around us.  At least I am, lol.  I am already super excited.  It's only going to get worse.  Much worse.

If Thane is still alive, and hopefully he will be what kind of role would you like him to have in ME3?  Something like what he has in ME2. Something a little bigger or smaller. Will it be important I don't know.

^Tentura, yeeesss, that would have been epic. I hope they do that with our beautiful Thane. I'm already unbearable tbh. I told my daughter, but she stated she will be happily off at university and didn't care one bit. *shakes head* I don't know where I went wrong with her. LOL



I hope it comes out right before Christmas. Sorry!!! But over here, we close the school for three weeks holiday and OMG I could just do 24 hour straight! I did that with DAO.



^JECWSU I would like to see him in some capacity and not sidelined. Definately alive, hopefully well (maybe dlc) and think it would be ideal for him to be at full active squad status, with improved assassin skills.

A dlc would be nice. My husband could care less also. For some strange reason he thinks I'm just weird for liking Thane. I guess he doesn't like aliens.

I would REALLY prefer to have all my ME2 squadmates back in the same capacity as before.  I just hate the idea of leaving them all in the dust after the suicide mission.  They're the galaxy's best.  Shep needs them now as much as ever.  Besides, no way would Thane leave her side - he LOVES HER!!

Exactly that. Shep spent almost the whole game recruiting, doing side missions, loyalty missions and stuff, got a teeny bit of Thane lovin'. That was the point of the second game, I thought. So why bother building another team. BW knew what they were getting into, so hopefully they don't do a 180 because it's in the "too hard" basket.



And Shep loves Thane right back!!!

This is true, and judging by that trailer who has time to build a new team. It said you had to gather most if not all the races in the galaxy to help save earth and stop the reapers. Some of those races are on your team. You need them.  I didn't spend all those hours gaining their loyalty just to end up with new people.

Shepard does indeed love Thane right back. She just needs an opportunity to tell him.

I brought Thane to Jack's loyalty mission once..I didnt realize how horrible a mistake ive made until it was too late. Good news is, I used him for the pipes in the Collector base. He said he liked the humid invorinment inside. I think it evens out.

I saw the VGA's finally. My mother recorded me in squee mode whenever ME2 came on the screen. Thanks to those who tried to get me a streaming website. 

I'm very excited. The bad news is, if we are given the option to create brand new Sheps in ME3 the same as in ME2 without importing we might have to recruit a new squad. That thought just popped into my head. Also, the narrator / sniper guy in the trailer -- I bet he's gonna be a squadmate. Or play some vital part to the crew. 

The moment those Reapers popped up on the screen... O.O OHSHI--!
