I concur, mnomaha. Though in a personalized background for my Shep, she was also a ballerina (well, dancer in general) -- hence her own grace, flexibility, and all around infiltrator-ness on the battlefield. <_< Ahem.

Can anyone tell me what this scene is from? It looks like the Collectors' base but I'm not sure.

^ It is when you are talking to TIM at the end of the suicide mission. If I remember correctly, if you first agree to give him the base, or even consider it, one of your teammates speaks up against it. This is Thane's line in that scene. Then you are given the *final* chance to decide to give it to Cerb or blow it to hell.

Aw, shame. I never bring Thane with me to kill the human-reaper. I'm always afraid Tali or Jack will die if I don't bring them 'cause they're squishy.

the only one I've ever had die is Mordin, so I just send him back with the survivors. I will definately have to take Thane with me the next time!

No, I always have it with Tali (my BFF but jeebus, she's useless in that fight) and almost had a heart attack. I loved all of my crew. I try very, very hard to keep them all alive -- systematically. I'll try it with Thane this time around. Doesn't look like I'll be staying with Liara this playthrough after all, lol.

And no, sorry. I don't use GIMP. I've always wanted to try it.

LOL... couldn't stay out of life support, eh?  I feel ya.

Oh, and I never let anyone die either.  And I always bring Thane.  So, you can totally do it and feel safe.  I brought Leeg as my 2nd last time, and I'm pretty sure I've taken Garroo, too.

Edit: I always let Mordin escort the crew back, btw.  Not sure if it matters.

I think it does matter with Mordin. He seems to be the squishiest in the squad. He's the only one I have ever had die and that's because (apparently) I let him fight in the final battle. Lesson learned.

Tentura, that makes me feel a hell of a lot better. I'm always scared to **** that I'll have to reload to a really early save if someone dies, so I don't risk it. But now I'll feel safe bringing Thane! Possibly Kasumi or Legion. Probably Legion. Snipers work really well for that last battle. Nothing says "Suck it, Reapers" like a bullet in that third terminator eye.

Seriously. Did the Reapers think humans have three eyes? Wtf?

And yeah, Mordin has the lowest survivability chance so it's a preferable strategy to assign him as the escort. Giggity.

I had Mordin die once and Tali die once. I just couldn't let anyone die so I started over to save them. I don't think I have ever let one person die and kept the playthrough. I pretty much like everybody, and you will need them in ME3.

How did Tali die on your run?

This should help. It's a guide on the suicide mission. If you follow it you should be able to get everyone out alive no matter who you bring to the human reaper.

I have no idea how Tali died. I was shocked when I saw her laying there. I ended up starting the suicide mission over and taking her with me to the human reaper to keep her alive. After I did that everyone lived. Maybe I didn't upgrade all my weapons. I'm not really sure.

 looks like its when you are getting samara but i dont think you can get thane before... then it must be when you are getting the krogan....

That image is Thane disagreeing with the idea of keeping the base. To get it you'd need to have your Shepard consider keeping the base. Then Thane says that line, and then Shepard gets to make the final decision.

If you do all the loyalty missions and all improve the ship is following the 3 rules no one dies.
1. In a ventilation to send the Legion / Tali
2. Commander to appoint Garrus
3. Take a walk, Jack / Samara

Thane is really recognized as the best character in 2010 IGN?

P.S. I specially killed Aleko in ME1 that was not even a picture on my table.
