Ah yes the reclining pic, ^_^ how I love that pose! It seems cooler in his shiner outfit.

On cure related note, it would be pretty cool if the devs merely introduced Thane's disease just so that, as a side mission, we'll be able to cure him in ME3 (that way the romance could still continue). Anyway thats my optimistic thought, keep Thane alive Bioware!!!!

As is tradition with the Mass Effect games, we should be allowed the CHOICE whether or not we can cure Thane the same way we had the CHOICE to romance him as femshep in the first place.

I have heard alot of people say that curing him would somehow lessen his character, I don't think that is true. If the choice is there and you feel that way then you simply don't cure him and allow his body to slowly suffocate itself to death (Evil People, yes you know who you are).

I have to admit though if there is no cure for him in ME3 I will be gutted, I am so attached to him as a character and no matter how hard I try to romance someone different through each play through, I somehow keep finding myself back in the life support area, talking about that desert vacation, I just can't resist him!

Anyway...I agree completely with a cure in ME3!

PS. I also think Mordin may have something to do with curing it, c'mon the guys a genius, he was even working on curing Vroliks syndrome in his spare time!

I do this every single time too. I keep saying, "Okay okay okay....I'm going to romance with Garrus this time." But I just instinctively walk to the Life Support and go talk to him....and fall in love with him....again....

He is quite irresistible

Especially when he admits that he "Has never felt affection for another species" the look on his face, how can one possibly resist?

OR better yet

When he says hes looking forward to the final mission, if you give him the bottom answer, somewhere along the lines of keep your head in the game this isn't over, he replies "I do not intend to let my body pass before it's time, I will watch over you"

I was just like Awwwww I love you so much! Lol XD

I knoooooow! The voice is just so deep and raspy....but somehow smooth at the same time. Ugh. So much hottness. I don't know if BioWare knows what they have done....they might kinda know....but I don't think they realize....in the grand scheme of things what they have done...

An army of girls will attack them if he's not in ME3, and ESPECIALLY if he's not cured...

I would be afraid if I were them. XD

Awww there just HAS to be a cure, somehow I doubt that femshep will just sit by idly and watch her man die a slow, painful, excruitating death.

She has to try something!!!

Otherwise she'll give him the best damn 8-12 months of his life. (Lets hope it doesn't come to that)

That's assuming of course she manages to defeat the reapers and they both survive - we can only hope and dream and constantly plead to the devs!

It's almost as if he was talking and purring at the same time. Weak at the knees, I agree. But it's also his body language when he speaks, it is ..enthralling.

Yes! Purring! That is SUCH a great way to describe his voice.

Oh indeed, the body language too. The subtle gestures and the way he moves is most certainly mesmerizing.

Slightly off topic, but did any of you guys get a spam messege that just screamed phisher? *grumbles*<_<

I think some of you have some mental unbalances and need to seek medical attention.

I think it has been mentioned quite a few times, by a number of people now, however we should KEEP mentioning it.

You know...just so the devs don't forget...they wouldn't break all our fan girl hearts would they?

Im scared now...

Yes, I've already done this. Although all I said was more Thane. Then I thought back on it and said to myself, "Maybe I should elaborate on that" but now I can't find my original post.

You know I can't help but think that saving Thane is going to require femshep to do something unbelievably, humiliating....you remember how you got your happy ending with Alistair in DA:O don't you? *shudders*

And you know how them devs just LOVE to toy with us. Posted Image

Bioware hooks us in with these awesome characters, awesome characters, and they break our hearts:

Alistair won't be a squadmate in the expansion pack

Kaidan is cold on Horizon

You have to kill Sky if you're CF

Thane is going to die: It's a beautiful idea, but very hard to take, hence this little "bump" and a desire to see Thane cured. I've become more attached than intended.

It's wonderful that they write such awesome characters, but perhaps they should leave the heart-breaking alone?

My FShep would sleep w/ Morrigan a million times if it would cure THane (or for my other one, have Kaidan as a squadmate).

Just saying.

Trying to decide between Thane and Garrus as LI for my female renegade infiltrator Shepard....

Already asked on the Garrus thread, feel like it's only fair for the Thane people to get their shot.

My renegade is going with Garrus.  I tend to give Paragons to Thane.  There's something beautiful about two cybernetically, renegade friends finding out there's more between them.  I think Thane needs some fluffiness after living as a dead man for ten years, dying, troubled relationships with his sone, etc.  A renegade would be too cold for him, imo.

Aaah I do the same thing, every time I try to even flirt with another squadmate I find myself feeling horrid and running back to life support

It's not as easy as that. Shepard and Thane are friends (in my game at least) If there is no cure, Thane retains his mystique, and I (as the player) am happy enough. Remember he doesn't have to die during the events of ME3.

But if the game gives me the choice of curing him or not, then I don't see I have much choice but to cure him as abandoning his friend to die when he could've done something about it would be totally out of character for my Shepard.

Bioware have essentially created the ME universes answer to Boba Fett in Thane Krios. It doesn't really matter how much he actually does in the uiverse. His awesome (or handsome if you're that way inclined) look combined with the character he's already shown has cemented his place firmly in ME lore. If you wan't him to get cured, by all means write a fanfic about him.

For me, I'd much rather he survive ME3 (and I'm all for Cerberus making modifications to extend his life expectancy) but for his fate afterwards be unknown.
