Yeah, right.![]()
Too bad that dialog was cut!!
Saw this at Clan Vakarian. Brilliant.
So Sable, just read a fanficcy of yours called trust. And I certainly loved it

By the way, I think it would be great to talk to Thane about the letter, it would be curious to see how he would react. Also, it would be amazing to see if he would vocally confess his love. He is the only LI that uses the 'l' word after all.
And guys, Garrus letter:
Shepard
When you sniped that merc in the head last mission, I just felt like popping the heat sink myself.
Ok, that metaphor just went somewhere horrible...
Garrus
Ok, so I may have copied off Gnas

Even though I can't romance Garrus for fear of incest, turians are damn sexy. They have those voices that just sort of... vibrate through you.
You know, like one of those massage chairs.
...Perverts.

That is... intriguing...
However, Garrus and I most certainly isn't incest, it just freakin' goooooood! So where is mnomoha and neiticora these days? Hibernating?
Finally downloaded LotSB, my new card came through, one where the card number hasn't been rubbed off. I shall be playing it on my day off tomorrow. And going crazy on DLC. Yeah!

Glad you liked the fic. Garrus + Handcuffs =
As for Thane...I dunno how well he would take it. It WAS private, and it was intended only for Shep to read once he'd passed. Poor guy--first Kolyat gets his hands on his inheritance early, then Shep finds her love letter on the Shadow Broker's databases.

I think it suited Thane and Shepard's personalities not to discuss the letter. I think that Thane is the kind of person who is always honest, and true to his intentions. So what Thane says in the letter, he will display in actions. Who knows? He may even come out eith THE line in ME3. Preferably surrounded by chaotic explosions. I like explosions

Shep: *shoots the Cain*
Everything: *explodes*
Shep: I love this gun
Thane: ...I love you.
Shep: Sorry, what? My eardrums are still kinda ring-y.
Thane:
...Oh Thane. I do love to torment you so.

I agree that it suits Thane and Shep not to discuss the letter. My Shep is from a military family. My typical experience with those families is that they don't always say "I love you", but they certainly mean it in more powerful ways. That's how I play Shepard. She doesn't feel the need to talk about Thane's letter with him. She read it, she knows. That's good enough for her.
I'll have to get back to you on that, Tinve. I can't remember if I even funded the antibiotics research. Wasn't there a negative string attached to that one?

Most players would have been negative. Only 1 player in the community where this was discussed, was able to get a positive. What does this have to do, he did not know.

My Garrus mainshep would probably say it to each other while killing some mercs amongst flames, corpses and explosions. Yeah!

Hey, actions speak louder than words. Especially when shooting the Cain is involved... I think that my Thane shep would only say it if he said it first. But it would mean a lot at the time. They would prove their love for one another in silent, but caring ways rather than shout it from the rooftops sorta way.

I honestly have a very hard time seeing Shep say I love you. Shep can be so closed off at times, and ManShep of course has his machismo to consider. Both of my Sheps fall under the I Uh You Too trope.

And I think the one from Mulan is fitting.
"You... you fight good."

I think the Mulan quote might fit Garrus better
"You fight good" is still more complimentary than the way Miranda expresses affection for my ManShep. She does it by cheerfully telling him he's an idiot, ass, jerk, or some combination thereof. Usually accompanied by facepalming.

I have a hard time imagining Thane really caring about that "thing" our Shepards have on her heads....
now that I think about it....Thane cant tell red or dark red from black, isn't it? So he can't tell a readhead from a brunette??
ROLF
He can still tell darker hair from lighter hair, and the hair color was my preference. I didn't really care if he could see the color or not. I just picked what I like. I was just asking how much time people spend on their Shepards and hair color came up.
