Thanks! It was made by one of our incredibly talented Drellickers here on this board. I can't remember which one for sure (please no flames my lovely creator) but I would imagine Raven or Tentura. I could be wrong because lets face it, there are some super talented people on this board. I just know I am not one of them. :( its very sad.

I admit it was me. :P I'm guilty. Tasha was the one who came up with the slogan.

Yeah, I got a smarmy little comment for my drellicking banner, they thought it was something dirtier than it was. I was just thinking about getting my hallucinatory fix from licking some drell, but some people take it too far... Posted Image
As for Aello, I knew you were scheduled to delurk soon, you just needed prompting Posted Image And I certainly agree, removing all of Thane's clothes will be beneficial to his health. Did I say all his clothes? Yes. I believe I did. I think Dr. Chakwas missed a little bit off her report. I have just recruited Thane on my current playthrough, so I will upload some pictures in a bit. After all, he only has 8 to 12 months to live. May as well make it the best year of his life by posing in front of the imaginary camera.
And so far, on Tasha's imaginary camera, Garrus is the best poser Posted Image
And Aria is the worst...

You know the drill.  Less is MORE!  Plus... it's for his health, ladies.  That's all I'm concerned with.  :innocent:

Oh and- *fangirl powers unite* Off with the jacket!!

Hear, hear, but I can't deny that :
"The force is strong in that jacket. "  ( Seriously the jacket is the Master among jackets, leather jedi, stormjacket, superjacket, wonderjacket...ok, I'll shut up nowPosted Image).
You can always use the alternative: " The force is strong in dat thigs." Just don't make me start on this one.

Off with the jacket! (in the name of drellicking fangirl brigade)

Thane needs a lightsaber.

Shepard: The force compels you to remove all clothes.

Thane: I have a lightsaber.

Shepard: And 'DEM THIGHS!'

Thane: *looks down* yes, it appears I do. Very well then. *Uses the biotic force (sometimes referred to as a 'biotic wind') to remove the jedi jacket and other unnecessary clothing*

A biotic wind?

Does that mean we can smell Thane's greatness?

OK, I have a question regarding Thane's dualism principle.

Doesn't Thane contradict himself by feeling remorse for killing Nassana?

He kills Nassana, prays over her body and says it's not for her, but for him. Then later on the ship, he explains that he isn't responsible for killing others, which seems to completely negate what happened after he killed Nassana. The concept of dualism of mind is present, but his actions and character arc don't do a good job of reflecting that. It looks at when he purposely kills others and not by a behavioral reflex.

Someone enlighten me.

Doesn't he mention something about not being fast enough to save more of the innocents? Maybe he was praying for forgiveness of his "failure".

I think it may depend on whose definition of evil it is. To the person doing the act, they may see it as a necessary action, but the others that it affects, it may seem evil.  Like some rich dude selling weapons to merc groups. Is it evil? Ask the victims and then ask the guys family. One will say the dealer is evil the other will refer to the killer as evil.

That would make sense, but we really don't know.

For someone who firmly believes in dualism, yes, in fact, it is.

I don't think he feels remorse for killing Nassana, he feels remorse because he didn't kill her earlier, which meant that some of the salarian workers were killed. According to his high standards, he wasn't fast enough. He sees his body as a weapon wielded by someone else when he is on an assassination contract, and it is his employer who ultimately kills his target. Which I agree with. But Thane's dualism is more of a coping mechanism. It is unrealistic to expect that an assassin will be able to kill for a living without any emotional damage. In the book I have written, there is an assassin who has gone a bit mad from it all.

As far as I could tell, Thane killed Nassana for his own benefit, to make the world brighter before he dies. He was freelancing before being recruited by Shepard, so he purposefully killed her. But I think he believes he is justified because Nassana's ruthless nature made her a target.

My interpretation anyhow. See! I can be serious!! Hehe.

Per request of the above, the drellicking banner is back! As is my old profile picture! And now I look like someone other than Tasha?

Since it's possible to do an evil act and feel no guilt then why would Thanes prayer be guilt based?
