Oh wow, Hanar you did an AWESOME job with it. Thank you for taking the time to put it together! It's great to see we have so many fantastic artists on our side ^^

Two questions are to follow --

1. Should you maybe create a separate thread for the collab to draw more attention (Developers also)?
2. Did you send a link to Keythe already? :P

About question n. 1, I think you should ^_^

Question: If you could ask a question which the writers would answer from Thane's perspective, what would you ask?

I would ask: Does Kepral's Syndrome hurt?

*cracks knuckles* Catch up time. Hehe, "ketchup" time... *ahem*

- I typed in peanut butter 'cause I was bored. Although a romance novel with Thane covered in peanut butter is not out of the question.
- Hana, love it. I commented on Keythe's page. I sorely want one of those green ribbons for my car in real life. ;>
- A question I would ask the writers? Hmm. What does Thane do other than sit in that chair on the Normandy?

Haha, perhaps.
I just wanted to check if it was alright with everyone before I show it around too much.
Turns out, I missed someone's Shepard (I feel bad :() So it was lucky I DID check!

And thank you everyone! ^^ I'm so glad you like how it came out, it took a lot of work and a long time to complete! But it's thanks to all of the wonderful artists who contributed that the end product looks so amazing!

So thank you contributors! Perhaps, thanks to you, our wishes will be granted!

This is freakin' amazing! It warms my heart to see that so many people want a cure for Thane. I wish i was an arty type now Posted Image hehe. Ah well, fanfics keep my obsession alive. By the way, after I have finished my Garrus fanfic, I am going to write a Thane one!!
Any ideas guys? Gonna have it like my Garrus fic, a main plot after the reapers with the romance being the sub plot of the story. Ideas please! Posted Image

The "cure for Thane" picture is so cool! :)

I have no idea what to ask, but that's a good one. Hopefully Thane isn't in much pain.

@Tasha: The only thing I can think of is Shepard breaking into a hanar research facility, taking on the jellies, and escaping with a cure. xD

Someone on devART made a picture of Thane coughing up blood (can't remember where it is now), which I know is painful, but I don't know if a bacterial disease would merit coughing up blood.

Hehehehe!! That conversation was simply absolutely AMAZING! My imagination does tend to run wild at time. I guess that is a drawback of being a (budding) author. You become mad, bad and dangerous to know Posted Image.

A question for Thane:
Why won't you add yourself to the lung transplant list?

raven - I agree with Legion on list. His is a sorta "hero worship", if a machine can do that, and what woman doesn't need extra protection, lol
AND - yep, Thane needs cardio to maintain lung function so anything that increases heart rate and respiratory rate would be "okey-dokey". I leave the kind of cardio to imagination and NSFW, but realistically, we teach what you all are thinking to our cardiac rehab patientsPosted Image

hanar - AWESOME job, thanks for taking the time to create that masterpiece!!

tash - Don't include humans on your list just for readers sake....as I've said before, I sssooo totally would NOT include humans on LI list. Non-humans appear more supportive, loyal and honest then the humans *trying not to Alenko rant* not to mention, way more hot and sexy...imo

mno & raven - voice change probably not from Kepral Syndrome(KS), but coughing up blood (hemoptysis) would be. Think of TB (mycobacterium tuberculosis). Which, by the way, I'd like to think KS is compared to in the future MEverse. This means, there is a treatment for it!!! (yep, I'm always hopeful, I mean, dying from a bacterial infection when being space dessicated isn't dead??? REALLY!!)  BW has written codex similarities with KS as with TB. TB is getting resistant to the drugs we have for it, and treatment in this day and age is usually with 4 different meds, versus the two we used to use, as HUMANS have discovered. So, with what is available in the MEverse, Mordin's brain, the Hanar's research, etc, etc, etc....CURE THANE already..........

Gnas - I'm going with "no pain with KS", since I am equating with TB.  No pain with TB, unless cough is "outta control", then pain is from result of cough.........

*rolls sleeves back down and takes off glasses*

? for Devs - How many antibiotics did it take to cure KS for the Drell, 3 or 4?????Posted Image

Thanks for the info, Hedge. I was curious. I'm hopeful too, actually. Maybe we'll be celebrating after we all play ME3.

If not...

I knew there would be a thread like this!

I don't really think they will cure Thane through a DLC or a side quest. I imagine Thane will live through ME3 and the ending could be Shepard leaving everything behind and looking for a cure with Thane. The galaxy wouldn't need her anymore with reapers destroyed...or whatever happened in the end.

Just like DAO...the hero could follow Morrigan if he chooses to. I'd like it that way.

It’s one way yes. They might patch him up with something (new lungs or temporary treatment or whatever) so he will still be able to fight. And then leave the end to every player to make his own end.

But I would like that his story in me3 won’t focus again on his illness. Everyone sees him now as a walking disease or a dead man. It probably doesn’t help that he is green.

Yeah, I notice that when people speculate on which squaddies will be in ME3, it's always:

Thane: dead.

And I am thinking noooooooo!! There are other options! He has 8-12 months, and hasn't added himself to the lung transplant list (but he will!!) and it appears that ME3 will take place right after ME2. So there is time! I don't think things will be as simple as 'oh look, the hanar have found a cure.' I think there will be more depth and realism into it. But they built his character up, so I am sure that Thane's resolution to the trilogy won't dissappoint us!

Its disappointing when every other squad member is though of as being in ME3 except Thane. Ugh.
