Yeah, this. I think that all, or at least most, of the characters just wouldn't work romantically with someone who isn't Shepard.

From what I've heard he had a family -- key word had, and he turned into the "human first" fanatic sometime during or after the First Contact War. I agree with all of this. We'll get to find out for sure in Evolution. (Can't wait for Evolution. xD I think the Garrus and TIM threads both know it too.) And you're right about TIM having a family once, it was mentioned in the beginning of Ascension.

According to this, Timmy will be a "pivotal figure" in ME3.

Same, although the possibilities are there. I just doubt any of them would actually execute it. Kasumi has an obvious crush on Jacob, but I doubt she'd ever actually pursue him. For some reason I've always seen Gardner and Chakwas having a thing for each other, but again, I doubt they'd pursue it.

I do expect Ken and Gabby to have some sort of romantic revelation in the future, or maybe they'll just stay "bros" forever, lol.

But yeah, the thing about Thane is he really doesn't fit with anyone other than Shepard. Mostly because Shepard is largely the cat and not the mouse, that I've seen. (Well, okay -- in ME1 /everyone/ was the cat and poor Shep was the mouse). While I can see Kelly consoling Thane, I see Shep as someone who Thane would find a kindred spirit in, depending on your Shep of course.

I saw that. I'm glad TIM's going to have a big part in ME3, and hopefully Shepard will still have the option to work with him. A lot of my Shepards, including MainShep, would do that if given the chance. ThaneShep might too, depending on the situation. She'll destroy the base because of Thane's line in the suicide mission , but won't say she's quitting Cerberus.

You know, that's the first thing I thought of when I realized where his hand was. Then I just went right back to staring at the picture of Saren on the alternate cover.

No, definitely not. Poor TIM, someone close to him probably dies in the last comic. But his hand placement is... unfortunate.

You're probably thinking of Morinth Samara's daughter.
At the end of Samara's loyalty mission, you have the option to recruit Morinth and let her kill Samara.
Back on the Normandy, she takes her mother's place and if you choose certain dialog options, you can be killed by her.

You can't "embrace eternity" with Samara, she turns you down before an actual romance is started.

I just thought from some of the videos I have seen that embracing it with Samara got you a game over scenario. I know what would happen with Morinth. But then again, I did watch them on youtube, so probably not the most reliable source.

I don't think the game even allows you to "embrace eternity" with Samara. You don't get a game over because it never lets you get that far. She turns Shepard down. Maybe it was Morinth you saw. I think at some point Morinth can look like Samara so rest of the crew doesn't find out that Samara is dead and you replaced her with Morinth.

Her name is Ava, but my other Shepard and Thane got 46%.

All of my Shep's with Thane range from 44%-75%. However, what's in a name? 'Cause

Chocolate and Thane =98% !!!!, That says it all folks ^5
