To answer the question about Thane joining Shepard if he didn't have Kepral's, he seems like the kind of guy who would. You guys already listed most of the reasons, and I'm sure "save the galaxy" would play a big part in his decision.

I've had technical difficulties. My video card is dying, so I'm rushing to complete my new PC. I can't run any games or do any video editing until I get it assembled. The parts should be here later this week. It's actually a very good thing, as I'll be able to take much nicer quality screens and probably do 1080 HD vids from now on. If I was to give a time estimate (which is just a guess), I'd say it might be done early next week.
And to stay on topic:

EDIT: Tinve, that's from Tali's loyalty mission on the Rayya. It's during Tali's trial; the third squadmate will sit down for a short time while the trial is at work. You can only see this if you have flycam, though.

Tali's loyalty mission. Others are from Mordin's loyalty mission, Zaeed's, Thane's, Thane recruitment mission, derelict reaper and Shadowbroker.

Here is the Thane mini litho.
And here is the 5-pack of character minis.
I might consider buying this version, just to have and hang next to my beloved Normandy. But, I dunno. I still don't love this litho, though I do love his character. Personally, I wish he was meditating in the litho...

I think so too. Aside from his "trying to make the world brighter before he dies" he probably would still want to do some good. Even if he wasn't dying, he'd have the guilt over Irikah's death, which might make him inclined to help Shepard.Kim Shepard wrote...

Also he simply doesn't seem the type to refuse an offer of helping to save the world.

I'd say that song applies pretty well to both Thane and my FemShep. She changed a bit after she met him, especially on an emotional level.

Me too! Actually, I love that whole scene. His body language just oozes confidence with his every movement. They did such an excellent job with his character's movement... in most scenes, actually. Especially this, the romance scene, and his entrance in Dantius Towers. I am just enthralled by it every time I watch those scenes.hanar05 wrote...

Now that I think about it, you're right--Thane does have some of the smoothest, most human animations in the game. Jack and Samara had pretty great movement animations too. If anything, Shep is the awkward one out of the bunch.

Yeah, it's during Tali's trial, the quarians are all sitting and whoever tags along sits at the top of the steps, just chilling out. Thane looks kinda relaxed and cool when he does it.Tinve wrote...

Garrus just looks really cute:

And his arms are dissappearing into his knees as Sable pointed out!
Thanks for your comments on my question, I do ask some evil questions at times
However, for now, I have no questions, just one of my favourite Thane screenies (aside from his hands on Shepard's bottom one, of course.)

Yes, I agree! Almost all of Thane's scenes have tons of character just in subtle movements. From his brushing his hand along the console as he speaks to Shepard the first time, to little nods of his head and shifts of weight. It conveys so much. Samara's movement is quite realistic: very graceful and elegant, like a dancer. And Jack, well, I thought she was great during some of her scenes down in the belly of the ship. Her jumping on the table (and startling Shep) was so perfectly her.Sable Rhapsody wrote...

Poor Shep, he/she really nees to work on that. I mean, it's one thing to not be able to dance, but Shep's awkward all the time, lol.

So true!
Yet I think Shepard movements are somewhat more neutral due to the fact that he/she is the "player's placeholder". So some people would argue that they can't roleplay him/her properly... even more...
The animators sure made a great job, I'm always mismerized by Thane and Samara's movements...

Shepard's more or less fine in cutscenes or more cinematic sequences, especially when s/he is speechifying. It's Shepard's standard movements in dialogues that strike me as a bit awkward. The movements always seem confined to the upper body, and it looks really weird. When people gesture, even if it's just with their hands or shoulders, there's usually some movement in the torso and waist, even in the hips and legs if they are standing.
I also think that the taller/bulkier the character, the more awkward their animations tend to look. Poor Garrus and Grunt
