So I took the plunge and finally got a fanfiction.net account.  I posted up one of my first stories, a one-shot featuring Thane and Garrus called "The Promise".  Anyway, thought you guys might like to read it.

Poor Thane, Garrus and I would be boogying on the dancefloor. Thane can join in though, he does like to 'dance crazy.' Maybe Kolyat can convince him?

I can't imagine Thane getting drunk though? Maybe he will prove me wrong though!

I can see Saren beeing one of those guys who just keep on drinking and never get drunk. Probably because pre-ressurrection he is really stoic

I think that due to the existing fanbase, they will develop the ME2 romances. I know people think back to ME1 and think about Horizon, but I am under the belief that they will bring out some DLC for that. They did for Liara after all.
For Thane, they have little chance but to develop his relationship in ME3. Especially if he dies from Keprel's then they definately have a romance arc to complete, his dossier from the Shadow Broker confirms this.
And if the Garrus and Tali romances aren't developed, then there will be many angry fans .

Favourite part of Thane... Can I say his whole body?

I trust BioWare. I think they'll do a great job with the current romances, including Thane, and with the new ones. I know a lot of people don't want to see any new romances in ME3, but I would. I'm not expecting my Saren, TIM, and Kai Leng romances to be actually be in the game, but then again... I didn't think Garrus would be a romance option either.

Personally, I wouldn't call Thane "swoonworthy," but one thing about drell appearances that I would call "cute" is... I'm not sure what it's called. That fringe-looking stuff just above the pink on his cheeks. xD

Well, he does appear in hologram form when Shepard has to make a choice at the base. And MainShep listened...

Yeah, I didn't see Thane as the type to get drunk either. I'd have trouble imagining a drunk Thane, but I did read one idea here that drunk Thane would try to speak like his normal classy self and mess it up, which sounds about right to me.

We actually guessed the same thing here. I imagine him a little bit like my Earthborn Ruthless - it can calm his nerves, but doesn't serve the purpose of getting his mind off of something unpleasant.

I think that the only reason the ME1 squadmates weren't around for ME2 - and thus, weren't developed more as LIs friends or otherwise - is because they needed guaranteed squadmates for ME3 considering everyone you pickup in ME2 has the potential to die.  So in short, I don't think that the failure to develop ME1 romances was a choice of story, but of necessity, and I believe both ME1 and ME2 romances will continue to develop in ME3.  My only question is how much time will be spent on developing those romances - I would like to see a bit of it, but I would also like to see a fair bit of 'regular' development and conversation that doesn't revolve around the romance.  I'm sure that Bioware will handle it well!

All of Thane is my favorite!  But something I particularly love is that ridiculous - but HOT - little pose he does if you stand around with him in your party.  So fly!

But if I had to pick, definitely his mouth. It looks very kissable.  

I also really like his eyes.
