But it is obvious that the father was supposed to be the good looking one and not his son. I think they made quite an effort with this.

How hard is it to put at least one of them in a two piece suit or with no coat.
It requires remodeling and texture-mapping on top of changing the texture, which can be quite time-consuming, especially for a character who only appears in the game for a few minutes (ie. Kolyat and Feron).
Don't get me wrong, I would love it if they didn't all wear the same thing, but I can see why it wasn't one of BioWare's top priorities.
Fingers crossed there will be some different drell outfits in ME3!!!

So weird thought, but has anyone tried doing something with your fingers fused like a drells? I got bored doing the dishes and decided to try it. It didn't go well. I didn't break anything but i got water everywhere.

Hey, welcome to the Thane thread! It is full of insanity, frequent unintentional (and intentional) innuendo, and occassional deep conversations, often posted by KimprobableMistressValkyrie wrote...
What I find amusing about Kolyat is that he is voiced by Quinton Flynn. I don't know if anyone here is a fan of MGS, but when Kolyat showed up the only thing I could hear was "Colonel, we managed to avoid drowning."
And hi everyone. I'm glad I can finally go to all these wonderful character threads now that I completed Mass Effect 2 (PS3 owner). So far I completed it twice, once with the Garrus romance and once with the Thane romance. I adored Thane's story and I really hope he shows up again for 3 so I thought I would delurk and show my support.
And can I say, I approve of you doing a Garrus romance and a Thane one. I thought that a lot of PS3 players won't go for Garrus because often, they wouldn't have played ME1. So high five for going for new horizons
And what does MGS stand for? Acronyms hate me...
And for the drellickers, an INTENSE Thane screenie:

Holly Shepard: "Yeah, so I'm looking for an assassin. A drell. Wears a really tight black outfit, toned muscles, very kissable lips, big eyes...
Garrus: *ahem* Shepard.
Holly Shepard: "Oh, right. Yeah, I need him for a very dangerous mission.... in my bedroom.
Garrus: *sigh*
Kasumi: "You go, girl."

Over all, Kolyat head is bigger thas his father's, so it makes sense... poor Irikah, I wonder if Thane was with her during labor...
My favorite part of the dialogue. xDAislinn Trista wrote...

Tasha MGS stands for Metal Gear Solid. I only know this because my husband absolutely loves that game, and I've watched him play.
Welcome to the thread MistressValkyrie. I did recognize the vioce when I first heard Kolyat speak.

Awww thanks:) Yeah, Garrus immediately drew me in. I think much of it had to do with that voice.
And that is such a beautiful shot of Thane:wub:

I think Garrus has a great voice. I love the voice acting for both his and Thanes character. Are you a big MGS fan?

I forgot to tell you how cute I thought this was Aislinn. All the Shepards I made for Thane feel the same way.

And LOL! I didn't realize Kolyat was Flynn! I find myself doing that all the time, though - I know this voice, where do I know this voice...?!
I don't have any deep discussions today. Howevah! The other day I finally started playing Dragon Age (late to the party, I know) and I would reaaaaally be happy if in ME3 as a progression of the love interests we could just go up and randomly initiate conversations/little side moments the way you can in DA:O. I already repeat the 'Time for me is short, Siha, but any I have is yours to take" convo after like... every mission. My Siha needs to unwind after fighting baddies. I would adore the option to smooch or snuggle my Thane any time I want, with a little prerecorded sexy voice line thrown in.
"You are insatiable, Siha."
(And yes, I definitely started playing DA:O originally so that I could have better insight as to what BW would do with ME3.

I adore the MGS series. MGS3 is probably my favorite in the series because I really loved the "survival" play mechanics.
Oh, Dragon Age! My first Bioware game. I agree, I really liked the dialog system for that. I liked that you could gain approval/disapproval with companions so you could have a different dynamic with the characters every time.
I liked the final conversation with Thane. I would go back to the Normandy after a mission just so my Shepard could check up on him.
