Even if he is in ME3 i doubt its gonna be as a squadmember.

ive seen the making off characters, the drawings of thane are great his all white suit is epic! wish it whas in the game

White suits are awesome. That should have been his second outfit at least. Not very stealthy, but very stylish!

I wonder if Keythe Farley (Thane's VA) posts in the forums. I mean, he reads them, and supports us on Facebook.. just thinking out loud here.



And the fanfic just keeps going. I have never seen more talented fans, then again, Thane is quite inspiring!

 Here's another survey if anyone is interested.  The 2.0 was scrapped I guess and thought I'd post the 3.0 here.  I have noticed that with these things Thane has consistently been #6 most popular.  I've seen the results of 2 surveys and a poll that all had him at #6.  Not bad out of 16 total ME characters.

I have to disagree Arrtis. Thane is all about making the galaxy better before he dies. if or when he dies it will be trying to defeat the reapers or in the med bay in the normandy on the way to kill some reapers.

Even if you don't romance him, he says something about fighting by your side 'til the end, if I recall correctly.

I think you are right Mahalat, but I can't recall the exact wording. I do know that he wants to leave the galaxy in a better position than he found it in, and what better way to do than then to make sure there is life in the galaxy before you die and help stop the reapers reign of terror every 50,000 years, the greatest threat the galaxy has ever known.

I've also been secretely lurking around here for a while now, like Arahlene
I've already signed and joined the support groups for Thane, because I really want him to keep alive and hope the devs will recognize us, plus, everyone here seems to be really kind.
I normally prefer dark and tragic stories, but there's always a limit, if you romance him it's already extremely sad and tragic, especially at the point where he declares that he doesn't want to die, because of the love towards femshep (Siha).

Referring to an interview with Casey Hudson where he stated: ...

"I think the biggest thing is first of all the resolution of all the
plots, all the decisions players have made throughout. Being able to
play and experience all the surviving cast members, all the characters
people liked. That’s one big part of it."

...I think it would would be pretty cruel and unfair just cutting Thane out, they even gave us hints that the Hanar are developing a cure .. seems like torturing us.

I apologize for this long post, but I had to share my thoughts and was happy that there are people who also love and support Thane for Me3

If you read the gameinformer article you can see how much they put into just developing what Thane looks like let alone developing a whole new alien race and culture. For someone they were just going to kill off anyway, that seems like a lot of extra work on their part.

The first time Thane had a flashback thingy it really startled me. I wasn’t expecting it. All those abrupt flashes and his eyes getting all buggy and staring in different directions.
 
Did anyone notice Kelly has the exact same flashback thing after you rescue her from the Collectors?

Yes that's a point I often thought about and I totally agree with you Aynslie ...it's just a bit depressing reading other threads, where they talk about Thane as already dead and fact he will not return ...
