@ The one with the blast - WOW.
It is incredible that you managed to catch such a beauty in time. Also, the sun peeking through the blinds really adds to the effect in Thane's opening scene. Very powerful.

And big guns... Nice!

@ Funny chan - I think that if Thane is restricted to just a cameo in ME3, then he will at least play a big part in that cameo. A bit like how Wrex had a cameo, (as leader of Clan Urdnot) but it was so epic, that fans didn't mind that he wasn't a squaddie in the second game.

Maybe I am just being optimistic, but I am not getting the impression from Bioware that Thane will just have a cameo

They both have the stealth thing, and her cheekiness would match his stoicness perfectly! I would be curious to see some interaction between the two, but alas! There isn't much... A much better match than Jacob...
Poor guy, he needs to go on some galaxy dating services for bland guys...

Thane and Kasumi don't really seem like a good match to me.  Samara seems like a better match to me, but I really have a hard time seeing him with anyone else other than my Shepard. While Jacob isn't my favorite character I think he's a nice guy. Thane doesn't really seem to be her type. Truthfully I don't think she's over her dead boyfriend.

I normally don't pair the characters with anyone besides Shepard either, but the Thane/Kasumi pairing kind of amuses me now that I realized she's pretty similar to the FemShep I created for Thane's romance.

I could see my ThaneShep in a similar situation.

I didn't romance anybody on my first ME1 playthrough, but I wouldn't mind romancing Kaidan and then importing the savegame just so I can dump him over Thane in ME3!

Glad you like this thread, it is full of insanity! But we all love Thane here. I didn't romance anyone on my Thaneshep's ME1 playthrough either, or for my mainshep who went for Garrus.

I just thought the ME2 romances were lots better. Also, I think it makes it more special if Thane is the only one that Shepard has gone for. Just makes him the special one.

There was also a more *ahem" 'detailed' scene for the ME1 romances. But then, there was different scenes and dialogues for many different LIs in ME2. And they are all so much better!

And Garrus def needed more dialogue. Apparently, the guy actually had some post suicide mission lines that were cut Discovered from the Garrus thread a while ago.

And I love Thane too! Welcome pinkwatermelons!! What a name!
