Thane romance scene was superb, it had emotion, drama and character development!

It was great to see how Shepard affected Thane's life in so many levels, that he went from joining Shepard to repent for his "sins" without a care for surviving odds, to someone cliging to his life so he can protect and stay with the ones he loves...

Hehe, that's what I was thinking to abnocte!

And I liked that you got to really see his character with the romance. But I did feel sorry for those who didn't romance him, because they only saw a small portion of his character. Only the romance arc allowed a Shepard to get close to Thane. You didn't really get a 'friendship' vibe with Thane if you don't become his siha, unfortunately.

Yep, my biggest gripe with ME2 is that unless you romance a character you don't really get to develop a relationship with them, and influence them in any meaningful way.

I believe our ME2 squad will be back, so I really do wonder how they are going to handle relationships in ME3...

If they go the DA2 route I think I will kill myself

I really like Thane's alternate outfit, but I just do not like those sunglasses.  I have tried, but everytime I use that outfit those sunglasses just annoy me to much. They are the reason I don't really put him in that outfit much.  I think they look a little odd and the cover up his eyes. I wish someone had come up with a way to remove them.  Same thing with Jack. I don't like the sunglasses on her either.

Pretty art! I have missed this thread.

I like Thane's alternative outfit but I agree about the sunglasses. It's a crime to cover up those lovely and expressive eyes of his. Also, it just doesn't work for the romance scene for him to have them on. I really wish you could toggle the sunglasses off. D: Otherwise he still looks damn good. Red is a nice color on him.

I played the Pinnacle Station DLC for the first time last weekend and at the end Shepard gets an apartment on Intai'sei. I'm not ashamed to admit that I thought of Thane. It seems like the perfect place for that desert getaway he and Shep talked about. An arid climate with vast deserts? Sounds perfect. It seemed pretty secluded, too. If Shepard and Thane both survive the Reaper threat, and they will if I have anything to say about it, they can go there to get away from it all for a bit.

The sunglasses really don't work for the romance scene at all. I agree that he looks good in the outfit and I love the red.

I really liked the apartment Shepard got at the end of Pinnacle Station. I would love to see it again, and to be able to take Thane there.

Glad to make your day! The Thane thread is always a great place to be cheered up and that!

Even Dr. Chakwas dissapproves of Thane's alternate appearance pack. And Sihas everywhere dissappove of the shades. Can't cover them eyes up now!

I love Thane's Alternative Appearance pack.

I've only seen a few screenshots of Thane's alternate appearance pack, but I know the biggest complaint is that the shades cover his eyes. They look cool on regular missions when Thane isn't the main focus, but when he's talking, his eyes show a lot of emotion. If they cover his eyes, conversations lose part of their emotional impact. I like to see the characters' expressions when they talk. That's one of the reasons why most of my Shepards don't wear helmets.

I didn't notice that the new outfit covers up Thane's chest. Doesn't make a difference to me. xD I'm looking at his face most of the time.

His medical report says his chest should be uncovered, so I don't know why they would put him in an outfit that covers it up.

It is a nice outfit though, but biggest problem is still those sunglasses.

His medical report is very interesting and sad. I didn't know that's why his chest is exposed until I read the report in his dossier. If you get the chance you should read it.

I agree 51ha. I am not fond of those earrings either. I seem to only use the outfit with the helmet also. I don't mind putting it on then. I really hope they don't add those earrings in ME3. If they do I want an option to remove them.

No glasses and no earrings/piercings for Thane, I like his outfit well enough since is more armor like.

I wonder if they are going to implement companions armor like Shepards...at least have them wear different outfits when outside/inside the Normandy....
