I know the magazines have said being "unfaithful" comes to a head at the worst possible time, but I have a very hard time seeing Kaidan and Thane getting too riled up over it without being OOC.  Kaidan's chillaxed, and Thane's very professional.

To a certain extent, I agree! But, a man...is a man. No matter what species he is made up of, ya know? lol! But, don't worry. The meeting I've got planned for Thane and Kaidan will be a good'on! ^___^*

Both Thane and Kaidan can lose their composure, though, given the right circumstances. It's just that Thane losing his cool translates to hot romance opener, Kaidan's ends up with a douche turian getting his teeth kicked in.


Hopefully they get good writing because that's another situation that could be badly handled, but I'm I'd be a liar if I didn't admit I want some drama.

You know, that is exactly how I imagine Thane to be with Kaidan. Never ashamed or hiding the fact that he is with Shepard. Always very confident and cool, but not threatening either.

I think the male LI's will be fairly relaxed. It will be the female LI's with the fireworks

Oh, I'm counting on it.  My awesomely brotastic ManShep romanced Ashley, then Miranda.  There will be popcorn and cackling come ME3.

And while I think the dudes can lose their cool, it'll be less in an explosive way and more in a passive-aggressive way.  Kaidan and Jacob are pretty chill, though Jacob can be a snarky bastard.  Thane is very professional.  Garrus is more hot-headed, but during the romance makes it very clear that he hates drama, and is also a fairly chill dude.

Although the post itself has issues with coloring blue text...sometimes it would work and other times it would ruin half the format of my post...

I don't now about anyone else, but this waiting may do my head in. I mean really, it's not confirming anything beyond the fact that someone will/will not be a squadmate. It's not ruining the storyline.

I think the waiting is going to be hard for most people, but I actually do not wish to know every one of my companions before I play.  I enjoy being pleasantly surprised while playing the game rather than knowing what is going to happen before-hand.
For example, I would have prefered not knowing Garrus was a returning squaddie in ME2. It would have made meeting him just that much more exciting. Instead I went through the first part of the game expecting him to be there when I went to find Archangel.

See, I've just come to peace with the fact that I'm a spoiler ****.  And that I have to live with fewer surprises in my game and that's ok.  I had most of the Baldur's Gate series completely spoiled for me (I read the plot on wiki before I decided to play it), and that's my favorite game of all time.

Though I've gotten my Team Dextro back, so everything else is bonus goodies at this point.

Although like the others have said, it is likely to be speculation as it isn't the words of a Bioware employee. Especially seeming though, bizarrely, Zaeed is in there and Samara isn't even mentioned. Seems a bit off to me.

This for me. I want him as my full-time squad mate.  I won't be happy with a cameo or temp squad mate.

I wouldn't be perfectly content with a cameo. But I accept that it is unlikely he will be a full time squaddie. Although they may make an exception to a Siha, or have him on the Normandy at all times

People are saying 'only popular squaddies are coming back on the team in ME3.' But Jack has been confirmed now, and she was about as popular as Thane...
