I'd be a bit irate if I can't have Thane around for the entire game (I'm one of those people who get comfortable with a set crew super fast and I get cranky if I have to change) but tbh if he's off getting treatment for the first half and then comes in and kick some serious arse afterwards, I think I'll be content.

Well, I made a similar post at one point, but it was on accident due to no sleep.  Please don't hanar-charge me! 

I hope all the LIs, and not just the ones you romanced, are coming back full-time too.  Especially because I liked a lot of those characters even if I DIDN'T romance them.  ManShep will be sad if his green neck-snapping bro isn't back to keep him from doing dumb s*** in ME3.

I know right!  I have team dextro, but I need Thane and then I will be content, and stop worrying!

And Aello! *GLOMP* you lurkninja, you have been away for far too long. Sit down, have Thane's mug and drink whatever unknown contents may be within.

But it does annoy me when there are posters like that you are too closed minded to see the many possibilities that could happen with Thane.

I romanced Miri with my ManShep and Garrus with my FemShep.  I haven't romanced Thane, Jack, Jacob, or Tali in any of my playthroughs, and I will be wicked pissed if I miss out on a squaddie just because I chose to befriend rather than bang them.

Yeah, I would love to see them all back. =( I love the whole gang together to defeat the Reapers. I love them all. XDD Even Jack. XDD Why not have them all permenant to have everyone happy? It just seems wrong to me that as we play the game we will meet the others but probbaly never see them again after that. And I don't like that at all. They all should be a team behind Shepard's back for the last installment. It makes perfect sense to me. XDD

Anyway, I want to keep optimism for a fight between the two assassins. Come on! I want to see them fight!! XDDD

I want Thane's introduction (and everyone else mind you ) to be epic for us to go *squealing* XD

...did it say anywhere for certain that he's NOT a permanent squaddie?  Because I'm being leery of vague statements ATM.

No, to my knowledge (limited as it is) no one has said that he is NOT a permanent squaddie. Thane has not be mentioned specifically anywhere that I am aware of.

Confirmed where?  Even if he's not with Shepard at the start he could still become permanant squaddie.

I'm hoping you are guys are right. I'm trying to be optimistic. I really am. I just don't understand why they can't confirm something as simple as saying yes or no that Thane will be a squaddie.

I read some of that on this board, but I don't think that statment was a quote from the developers. At least I hope it wasn't. I will be glad when they tell us one way or the other, because this waiting is very hard.

Not sure myself, but they got the information from someone...I just assumed it was too early for a direct quote from the devs, so they had to generalise it.

I wish I could hear a direct quote from them so I don't have to play this guessing game or try to figure out what they mean exactly.

Aslo I hope Thane doen't taste like Root Beer, because I hate Root Beer. Dr. Pepper is better.
