Dr. Pepper is good. I like Dr. Pepper. I just thought of root beer because of the anise taste.

I'm trying to remain optomistic, but it's getting so hard. Not hearing anything, and reading all these magazine quotes doesn't help. I'm not sure what to believe anymore.

Nor has it been confirmed that he will, I fear.JECWSU wrote...
As far as I know it hasn't been confirmed by Bioware that he won't be in our squad.
We know he will be back and we know his status as a full-fledged love interest will prove advantageous, but we have yet to hear anything regarding his role.

Root Beer is ok. I guess there are worse flavors. Is Thane suppose to have an anise flavor?

LOL A while back, some of us were trying to come up with flavours and scents for Thane. One of them was Chinese Five Spice, some say cinnamon, so I'm taking the middle road and going with some with a bit of anise. Oh, I think dark chocolate was mentioned as well. It's been a while though.

As much as I like a surprise, well sometimes, not when it comes to this. I hope for a good suprise, but well, it's Thane.
Yes, we do know he will be back, but it's the capacity of the return that concerns me. Whilst the love interests do have an important role, our interest is the only one with a terminal illness. Truly, if I get stuck with a death cameo, I will go completely ballistic.

A death cameo would be the worst thing they could do.

I know how you all feel. But, remember, we have a voice. We've got more power than most don't seem to realize. There are many ways that we can campaign for Thane. We can start a pure facebook or start an account at couple of sites that are coming to my mind right now where we can build a network and campaign for Thane. I mean, it depends on who REALLY loves him and wants to help do the work.

At this point, I'm quite certain Thane won't die any time soon.JECWSU wrote...
I didn't even know Jack had been comfirmed. I know they haven't said much about Thane or anyone from ME2 really.

Well, I'm constantly between here and facebook anyways, so bring it on! Suggestions are always welcome in my world of Thane.
I mean we have the art collaboration, which was totally awesome, so the more the better, IMHO.
Edit:BlackEssence...maybe I missed it somewhere, but did you finish your Kaidie/Thane story?

If that happens, I'd love to see BIoware try to explain why everybody else gets to keep their LI as a full time squad member except us.
Doesn't seem fair.

This. So much this. I agree with you xspray all the way.
And collaboration sounds nice. Bring it on.
Though I'm anyway making my list of what " will I do if they send him to cameoland ".
And if they do ...
With barely contained nerd-rage: Why, oh God, why.

All of this! Absolutely. My nerd-rage is simmering just below the surface as it is. I will join a collaboration. As Aello says, bring it on.
God, I have to to stop thinking about this. But I can't

I only hope we don’t get pushed into the corner just because Thane doesn’t have the number of fans as some other characters. Most of us already are in a minority (being female gamers) therefore we already get less than the male fans (like femshep animations...). So I really think that if they want to keep their female audience they will have to less ignore us. And that includes equal balance for male and female LIs. Which even if all Lis are back is not. It will be even worse if they remove Thane and Jacob. They really can’t do that. Femshep will then have only two Lis (+Liara if you can count that- because again that’s more for the male audience) while the male version will have FIVE. So the guys will get a whole harem while our femsheps are going to be lonely. But if that will be the case then they can kiss my money goodbye.

If Bioware really wishes to feed of our tears and actually get them, then
I mean just becasue ours isn't bigger then theirs, that doesn't make him any less popular. And by big I mean the size of the thread. You pervs.
P.S: Just realized I counteracted myself by saying - they better have a good reason for his absence. Bioware can easily throw at us the most popular sentance of the forum when it comes to Thane: Well he does have Kepral's and you knew what you're getting into.
Seriously, I mean anyone but you Bioware. *Headdesk*

I really love Thane. He's the definition of bad boy. And his voice...omigawd. And his leathers...*faints*
Please, Thane and Miranda for ME3 fulltime squaddies. Everyone else can shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
PLEASE!

It's hard not to worry. Especially since we haven't heard anything. I am trying to be optimistic.
I agree I want Thane to be a permenant squademate. I won't be happy if he isn't.

What I find suspiciously interesting is Casey's remark in one of the magazines that the ME2 team "has fallen apart" by ME3's timeframe. I don't even know what that's supposed to mean, but it makes the curious think.
Could be that the team has simply gone their separate ways. All the characters have their reasons for going off on their own, some stronger than others; Zaeed and Kasumi are contract fighters, Garrus's mother is ill, Tali may have duties on the fleet, etc. I'd say Thane could go either way with a romanced Shep, since he wants to protect his son but he also wants to protect Shepard.
I really do doubt Thane will only get a death cameo. We've been told that old and new LIs basically bring the drama in some form; it'll be difficult for Thane to have a scene if he's been given the sea.

Didn't Hudson also put Thane in the list of people who are off doing their thing in the galaxy? And that's without the possibility that Thane is off doing something specifically for Shepard.
I don't think Shepard's automatically going to win in a Shepard/Kolyat decision regardless, and Shepard would have to be unbelievably selfish or dense as hell to try and keep Thane from his son.
