Almost as interesting as the answers to the questions: what is in the cup on the table and how take off the coat?
Tea is in the cup. The coat look like its just the front clasps. Or at least, I hope its just the front clasps. Thane doesn't seem to be one that would have intricate clothing.

I don't have any idea how to get that outfit off. It doesn't look easy.

I think the equivalent of tea.
But! Question on facebook:
Okay, this one is less relevant, but inquiring minds want to know... in the game, in the room where Thane resides, there is a table where he (and Shepard) sit. On the table there is what looks to be a coffee mug. Whenever my character goes to speak with Thane that mug is there hovering on the edge of my vision like some kind of ceramic spectre.

As for the cup in Thane's room, who knows-- hot chocolate maybe?

I like to speculate that it is in fact, water from the oceans of Kahje that was the loacation of where the Goddess Arashu was born. The funny thing about this particular holy water is that it, in fact, cures Keprel's syndrome.
Of course, Thane doesn't know this. It will be a great big post-suicide mission surprise

And I like that theory! Have some of my tears Thane!
But they are tears of joy when we discover that Thane will live longer in ME3 because the turian councillor has dismissed 'Keprel's syndrome.'

The turian councillor's dismissals are a powerful force indeed. Not powerful enough to get rid of the Reapers, apparently, or there'd be no ME3

i thought hot chocolate was established as canon, no?
I think that until developers have not decide therewith it will be like in the book Small Gods by Terry Pratchett. Correct will be the version in which more people believe.

He dismissed the rapture on the Garrus thread. I'm sure he can dismiss Keprel's syndrome.Sable Rhapsody wrote...

LOL. Hopefully that approach doesn't apply to the rest of the canon...at least if the kink meme is any indication

Matrix moves win. Thane wins.
That's the same one where Grunt shoots them while they are in the air right?
I think so, it also features a stockier, strong looking build on Thane. Do want. Thane's in-game body was too lean for my taste. Yay for brawn, after all some of us like the feeling of being ground into the mattress under a muscular, masculine body... Oh sorry, my mind was drifting. :innocent:

I'm of two minds on Thane's body model. It looked a lot better and less weird than, say, spaghetti!Jacob, but I think the dark colors on his suit made him look really thin at the waist. If only it weren't for the goggles, I'd prefer him in his DLC armor; it doesn't have the same weird thinning effect as his default black armor.
Then again, I canon romanced Garrus. I can't complain about waist proportions on other guys

We're speaking canon? Oh, cuz in my imagination, its tea. Thane looks like he's a tea drinker from way back.

I really do like that trailer. I liked the way Thane looked in the game, but I also liked the more muscular look he had in that trailer too. Maybe they thought he was too muscular so they toned it down. Either body type is fine with me.

Thane never gave his son chocolate!
Shepard: Don't do it Thane! You don't need to do this to make up for all the times you never gave your son chocolate!
Thane: Let me be Siha... *drinks the whole cup in one go*
Shepard: Noooooo! What are you doing to your smexy body!
Thane: No Siha, I have to think about my son...about all the times he could have tasted this and didn't!
Shepard: *hugs Thane* Sorry, I'm sorry, I understand but... *hugs more tightly* you will have to do some extra exercise If you keep going at it like that... *grins*
Shepard : *unzips*

See, food + smexy times doesn't really appeal to me IRL. It's kinda messy.and yucky. In fiction, though, fine and dandy like sour candy
I feel bad for Jacob. All the other guys are lean and smexy, and he's got his demented torso going on.
